Week 3 Fantasy Football Rankings: 3 Underachieving Receivers to Drop
Sometimes patience is not the way to go.
You drafted so-and-so way too high and now have to prove you didn’t blow it by sticking with him as he continues to put up 4-to-6 points a game.
Don’t let it happen.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Here are three players that you should pull-trigger with on a trade or a simply cut:
Dwayne Bowe, Kansas City Chiefs
The Chiefs offense is in shambles with the loss of Jamaal Charles, and Bowe is screwed because of it.
In two games, he has a mere seven receptions and has yet to find the end zone. His QB Matt Cassel is banged up and lacking confidence right now. He isn’t looking to extend the field and has been throwing too many short passes. Cassel escapes from the pocket at the first sign of trouble.
He has too much value to cut, but trading him for somebody else is something you should seriously think about.
Ted Ginn, San Francisco 49ers
Ginn had two special teams TDs in Week 1, which netted him a ton of fantasy points. That doesn’t mean he provides any sort of value from here on out.
Right now, he has four receptions for a grand total of 38 yards in two games.
Considering he has Alex Smith throwing him passes, Ginn has little upside. Get rid of him now and fill his roster spot with somebody who can actually be useful down the stretch.
Don’t forget that Michael Crabtree will be back very soon to bury Ginn even deeper down the depth chart.
Michael Jenkins, Minnesota Vikings
He sounded like a good idea at the beginning of the season because of the targets he was supposed to get. A No. 2 receiver should get around 70-80 targets over the course of a season.
That was the theory at least.
The Vikings offense clearly is going to be more run-oriented and we aren’t even sure if QB Donovan McNabb can complete a pass of 20 yards or longer at this point.
The 29-year old Jenkins has a mere six receptions for 55 yards and a TD on the season and looks incredibly slow at this point.
You’re better off cutting Jenkins and letting him rot on the waiver wire for the rest of the season.
