Michael Vick Injury: Why Eagles Will Regret $40M Contract They Gave Risky QB
The Philadelphia Eagles are going to regret the amount of money they gave Michael Vick, there is no doubt about that.
His latest concussion just helps prove the case even more.
Vick has appeared in all 16 regular-season games just once in his career. That's right, 2006 was the only year in Vick's 10-year career where he has been able to finish all 16 games.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Not only is Vick far from durable, but his numbers just don't warrant the money.
Vick does bring some extra value with his running abilities, but his passing numbers are not good. Last season was the best of Vick's career. It was his first ever season with a 100 QB rating and was the first season he had completed more than 60 percent of his passes.
However, he had more games last year with fewer than two passing touchdowns (five) than he did with more than two passing touchdowns (three).
Vick's numbers have dropped off significantly so far this season. Through his first two games, he has only completed 55 percent of his passes for 420 passing yards, against two teams that struggled in pass coverage last year.
Of course, Vick has added 122 yards on the ground, but his running abilities are the main reasons for his injuries. He finds himself trying to make something out of nothing and sometimes that leads to injuries.
Vick's performance on the field just does not warrant a $40 million guaranteed contract. He is too fragile and too inconsistent to warrant that much money, and the Eagles will soon realize their mistake.
