Dez Bryant Injury: Why Dallas Cowboys WR Isn't Worth Risk of Starting
While Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant did travel with his team to San Francisco, it's not looking likely that he will take the field against the 49ers this afternoon.
ESPN's Chris Mortensen says that Bryant will be testing out his injured quad by participating in the team's pregame warmups, but this shouldn't be taken as a sign that he will play. He would have to feel perfectly healthy before the game to play, and that is highly doubtful.
Though no official word has come out of the Cowboys about Bryant's status, if you are thinking of starting him for your fantasy team this week, don't do it.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Even if he happens to play, he will be extremely limited. He will more likely serve as a decoy and not a legitimate target for quarterback Tony Romo, and he won't see significant catches for significant yardage.
It would be best to treat Bryant as out, even though that's not been confirmed yet.
Hopefully you have worthwhile depth on your bench to make up for the points that a healthy Bryant would guarantee you. Otherwise, you need to hop on your waiver wire and pick up a free agent to fill in for you this week.
Obviously, don't drop Bryant from your roster. One injured week isn't reason for panic. However, he's not likely to play today, and you'll need other options at wide receiver for Week 2.
