Fantasy Football Projections Week 2: NFL's Top Scoring Defenses
In addition to all your stud players, if there's an area that gives one an edge in fantasy football, it's having a defense that puts up points.
They get sacks, force turnovers, return kicks and occasionally block a kick/punt.
If a player or two under-performs, having that solid defense could very well make up the difference, and ultimately be the difference, between a win and a loss.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
So for Week 2 in fantasy football, here are three very familiar defenses that are going to rack up some points.
Baltimore Ravens
Last week, the Ravens' D put up 22 fantasy points against a Steelers team that always has a solid offensive unit.
Baltimore totaled four sacks, picked off three passes and held the Steelers to only seven points.
In Week 2, you can expect more of the same as they play the Tennessee Titans on the road.
The Titans best WR is Kenny Britt, so Ed Reed will take care of that and RB Chris Johnson was held to a total of 49 yards (25 rush, 24 receive).
Not to mention Ben Roethlisberger is a better QB than Matt Hasselbeck.
So, don't be surprised if Ray Lewis and Co. put up even more in fantasy football.
Green Bay Packers
Another obvious choice, but mainly because the Panthers have a rookie QB in Cam Newton, and this time around, the Arizona Cardinals aren't lined up across him in Week 2.
The Packers run deep on defense, and with a much better pass rush than Arizona, Newton is going to be busy all day trying to find time whether in or out of the pocket.
Adding to that, return specialist Randall Cobb has solidified himself as one of the best in the game, and with the cheese being a complete football team, it's likely that Cobb breaks another one.
Also in favor of Green Bay is that Carolina is not New Orleans, because Saints' QB Drew Brees is arguably the best in the game, and he hit over 400 yards and three TDs against the Packers.
Although Newton did that in Week 1 as well, Green Bay will play much more sound defense and Cam comes back to earth.
Philadelphia Eagles
With Sunday night going to be an extremely hostile environment in the Georgia Dome against the Falcons, the Philly defense must step up big time to take pressure off QB Mike Vick.
That being said, Atlanta does have a talented offense with a bunch of potential, and although that wasn't the case in Week 1, don't be fooled by that performance.
And yes, the Eagles have a sick defense with an excellent return man in WR DeSean Jackson.
That being said, Jackson needs to hit it big on special teams because the Falcons are desperate for a win, and being the 2011 "Super Bowl or bust" franchise, the Eagles have no choice but to live up to the hype.
There is a lot of pressure on Trent Cole, Nnamdi Asomugha and Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie to play well, but they'll eat up the intensity and thrive all game.
