NFL Power Rankings Week 2: NFC West Edition
Week 1 in the NFC West was fairly uneventful as far as upsets are concerned.
Nobody expected St. Louis to beat Philadelphia.
The Arizona Cardinals beat the Carolina Panthers, but you wouldn't really know that with all the hype surrounding Cam Newton.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
And the San Francisco 49ers beat the Seattle Seahawks in a game that—well—was served best with a lot of GINN and juice. Ted Ginn that is. I'm sure your fantasy football experts were upset over his scoring on special teams, but remain hopeful he will get more touches in the offense this week.
So, let's examine the Week 2 power rankings in the NFC West.
1. Arizona—The Cardinals are 1-0 as they head to the fateful east coast, where they do not fair well. This week they face the Rex Grossman-led Washington Redskins. The last time Rex saw the Cardinals was that fateful Monday night meltdown by Denny Green. This time will be different as the Redskins are a little different than that Super Bowl-bound Bears team.
Not that the Cardinals are taking the Redskins for granted, but they know their running back well, considering he was drafted by the Cardinals and played in Arizona for the last three seasons before being traded this year.
In one of the few 1-0 team matchups this week, look for Arizona to go into FedEx Field and steal a close one.
2. St. Louis—This is a risky pick here. The Rams were playing well for the first quarter of the game against the Eagles, but Philadelphia wore them down and beat them up.
Now, they have a hurt quarterback, running back and wide receiver.
The quarterback, Sam Bradford, will play Monday night, but they run into a pretty upset New York Giants team who felt they should be 1-0 after last weekend.
I don't see the Giants losing to the Rams on Monday night—and I don't see the Rams holding on to this spot next week.
3. San Francisco—That game versus the Seahawks was not must-see TV—unless you like special teams. San Francisco's return man, Ted Ginn, scored twice within less than two minutes.
Next thing you know, the game looked like a blowout. The score was a bit misleading and maybe so was this win, but you can't deny that they man-handled the Seahawks. The 49ers gave up only 64 yards rushing and had five sacks.
This week we will know a little more about San Francisco as a disappointed Dallas Cowboys team flies in.
Can you imagine if the Cowboys started 0-2 again? Yeah, me neither.
4. Seattle—You need help on special teams. You need help on offense. You need help on defense, even though this is your best attribute. And now, you travel to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers, who are upset over a lopsided loss to their bitter rivals, the Ravens. I don't like your chances going 1-1. But I do like your chances of staying at the bottom of this list for another seven days.
Enjoy your football this week and stay up to date with the many Fantasy Football apps or even live streaming app for your smartphone.
