Why Brandon Marshall Was Wrong to Call Chad Henne the White Michael Vick
Miami Dolphins receiver Brandon Marshall is known to say and do some pretty crazy things, but his latest quote may just take the cake.
Marshall claimed that Dolphins quarterback Chad Henne looked like a white version of Michael Vick, after the team's 38-24 loss to the New England Patriots on Monday night.
While Henne certainly had a nice game, it might be a tad early to be calling him the white version of arguably the greatest physical talent to ever play the quarterback position.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
During Monday night's game, Henne threw for 416 yards, with two touchdowns and an interception. He also ran for 59 yards and a touchdown on seven rushes. His 8.4 yards per carry was stellar, considering he's no better than average as far as mobility is concerned.
Marshall had this to say about his quarterback's running skills: "As long as he doesn't get hit and he continues to do that because we need that, it definitely helps us out, as long as he gets down early enough we'll take it."
While I appreciate Henne's headiness in scrambling for some extra yardage on Monday night—including a nine-yard touchdown—something tells me that if he's the Dolphins' leading rusher every week, the team will be in serious trouble.
I know Marshall was joking around a bit with the whole Vick comparison, but to be real, he shouldn't be encouraging a Henne-based ground game. The Dolphins need more production from their running attack. If Henne is scrambling, it's fairly likely that the offensive line is breaking down.
If the line can't protect Henne—he took four sacks and was hit 11 times on Monday night—then yes, some scrambling is necessary. However, that also means the unit probably isn't opening enough holes in the ground game. Case in point, starting running back Reggie Bush only gained 38 yards on 11 carries on Monday.
While it's funny to think of Henne as "the white Vick," seeing him run so much reveals a much deeper problem for the Dolphins. Miami fans shouldn't be happy to see their quarterback running so much because of what it means about the offense's deficiencies.
