Fantasy Football Waiver Wire: 3 RB Handcuffs Who Will Help You in the Future
It's a little early to start looking towards the future, but if your fantasy football team is looking good right now, you might want to take a look at these running back handcuffs for the future.
Deji Karim (6.2 Percent Owned)
Maurice Jones-Drew is incredibly injury prone, so Karim is who you want if you own MJD.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Not only is he a smart pickup for later in the season, Karim is already getting a good amount of touches because Jacksonville wants to keep Jones-Drew fresh.
In Week 1, Karim got 14 carries and three targets (he caught all of them). He's already part of the offense, and would be an immediate fantasy starter if something happened to Jones-Drew.
Delone Carter (4.9 Percent Owned)
Consider me a non-Joseph Addai fan, if that makes sense.
Addai is basically the opposite of exciting, and after years of mediocrity, he is itching to give up the starting job.
Indianapolis might not be a great offense to be a part of right now, but Carter got seven carries to Addai's eight in Week 1.
I wouldn't be surprised to see him take over any day.
Jerious Norwood (0.8 Percent Owned)
Steven Jackson has already shown how injury prone he is, and he is likely to miss Week 2. This should happen again later in the season.
Cadillac Williams is the main backup in St. Louis, but have we forgotten how bad Williams was during the last few years with Tampa Bay?
Sure, he looked good last week in relief, but I'm not necessarily convinced. Norwood is a much more exciting back, is better catching passes out of the backfield and even returns kick.
This is for deeper leagues, but keep a close eye on Norwood.
