Week 2 Fantasy Football Projections: Will Andre Johnson Dominate Miami Defense?
Against a very skeptical Indianapolis Colts defense in Week 1, Houston Texans' WR Andre Johnson compiled 95 receiving yards on seven receptions, including one TD.
Now although his QB Matt Schaub is by no means Tom Brady, Johnson will still have a solid performance against another skeptical pass defense, the Miami Dolphins.
As if you haven't heard or seen by now, New England Patriots' QB Tom Brady threw for 517 yards and four TDs against the Miami Dolphins.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
He completed 32-of-48 passes and finished with a rating of 121.6.
Obviously, Texans' QB Matt Schaub has his own work cut out for him if he wants any chance at matching Brady, however, Johnson is a far better target than any of Brady's and Houston is playing with a lot of confidence right now.
And even though Schaub only threw one TD and was picked off twice against Indy, all he'll need is two seconds to drop back, and then proceed to launch a deep ball for Andre Johnson.
That being said, you can easily suspect that Miami will try and double-team Johnson as much as possible.
Only problem there is that Houston has plenty of other toys such as WRs Kevin Walter and Jacoby Jones, as well as TE Owen Daniels.
In addition, with the 'Fins pass defense weak, that will be their own focus in Week 2.
Therefore, don't be surprised if Johnson gets off to a slow start, because with Miami focusing on pass defense, Texans' head coach Gary Kubiak will most likely come out the gates running the football.
Which only keep the chess match moving along, because pounding the rock on Miami is only going to make the play-action pass that much more successful.
So expect Andre to start off slow, but as half-time nears and the second half begins, that's where he will begin to pick things up.
Not to mention the Dolphins defense should get worn down by Houston's offense, as they are one of the better to take the field in 2011.
Of course they're not New England, but for Miami to play the Pats' in Week 1, then Houston in Week 2, they have a lot of work to to do and it must be fixed very quickly.
That in and of itself plays into Andre Johnson's favor as well, but don't be nervous when he doesn't have the typical numbers at half-time.
Because Miami will improve, but it just won't last as Johnson and Houston are just far too talented.
In the end, Johnson should have about 120-ish receiving yards on eight catches with at least one TD, which may not be considered dominant, but that's about 18 fantasy points.
Additionally, if your league gives one point per reception or .5 per reception, then that total jumps to around 22-26.
And who knows, for as many yards as Miami will allow, he may even gain some rushing yards on an end-around or a reverse.
