Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
First, it's one familiar face and then two division rivals—check it out.
Indianapolis Colts
I know, I know, the Colts play host to the Cleveland Browns in Week 2, but as it stands right now, neither team has nothing to lose, and Indy looks completely lost without Peyton Manning.
As for the Browns, there's at least some promise with QB Colt McCoy, RB Peyton Hillis, TE Benjamin Watson and rookie WR Greg Little.
Also, the Browns defense has improved with rookies DT Phil Taylor and DE Jabaal Sheard.
This will be a close game as both teams are desperate to get back to .500, but with Kerry Collins still under center, and the way Houston was able to force pressure, you can bet Cleveland will come at him just as hard.
On the flip side, Indy's defense should play better as they do have a bit more of an identity than their offense, but there's just too much potential in Cleveland for the Colts to completely stop them.
Prediction: Browns 21, Colts 17
Seattle Seahawks
It's a rough time to be a Seahawks fan, because although they appear to be on the rise after winning the NFC West in 2010, '11 hasn't gotten off to the start coach Pete Carroll wanted.
In addition, the 'Hawks travel across the States to play the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 2. After getting annihilated 35-7 to the hands of division-rival Baltimore in Week 1, Blitzburgh will be very, very hungry.
It's not that Seattle can't win this game, but Pittsburgh simply just has too much talent for them to overcome.
Also, QB Tarvaris Jackson is still getting acclimated to his first real opportunity under center, and not to mention the special teams just killed themselves toward the end of the game at Candlestick Park.
It's not a complete disaster, but then again, Pittsburgh doesn't play nice either.
Prediction: Steelers 35, Seahawks 14
San Francisco 49ers
New head coach Jim Harbaugh got his first taste of victory as an NFL head coach, and much thanks to his return specialist Ted Ginn, Jr. for it.
That being said, San Fran's Week 2 battle brings in the 0-1 Dallas Cowboys, who started off great against AFC contender, the New York Jets.
The Cowboys, unfortunately, imploded on themselves in the fourth quarter and ultimately lost the game.
This time around, expect Dallas to come out with more fire and motivation because beginning 0-2 under Jason Garrett is not an option for Big D.
San Francisco keeps it close, but the 'Boys pull away toward the end and finally finish a game.
Prediction: Cowboys 27, 49ers 16
