WWE SuperShow Analysis: Should Teddy Long Also Be Named GM of RAW?
Fans of WWE are still trying to wrap their minds around RAW becoming a SuperShow. After having the brand extension shoved down our throats for years, it seems all but over now.
SmackDown superstars are appearing on RAW programs, giving everyone a chance to wrestle on live television. Since the change in the show, SmackDown has made themselves at home. They even had Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes as the main even match on last night's RAW.
With SmackDown practically invading RAW, there has even been authority figures popping up from the other brand. SmackDown general manager Teddy Long has been showing up on Monday nights and is even throwing his weight around. Last week, Long even ended up making the main event of the night: an eight-man elimination tag-team match.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Last night, Long was seen backstage announcing the United States Championship match for this Sunday's Night of Champions pay-per-view. After telling Vickie Guerrero that Dolph Ziggler would defend against three men, he would put Vickie in a match with Divas Champion Kelly Kelly.
Since when is Theodore Long allowed to walk around on a rival brand and make matches? If he can do that on a show that he is not the GM for, then why not just give him the show? Teddy Long is a good general manager and has been one for a very long time. Long has been the boss on both ECW and SmackDown for what seems to be forever in pro wrestling time. In a business where authority figures come and go, Long has been a mainstay.
RAW is the only brand that Long is yet to call home as a general manager. Since he is appearing on there weekly, it only seems natural. In the past few weeks, the anonymous RAW GM has been getting phased out, opening the door for Long. There is also uncertainty to who would be the new boss if Triple H loses to CM Punk at Night of Champions this Sunday. Just imagine if The Game loses, someone becomes COO and names Teddy Long the GM of RAW.
We wouldn't even have to refer to Long as a general manager anymore. He could simply be called the commissioner of WWE and be done with the rest of it. Considering that Teddy Long has been an authority figure of some kind on SmackDown since 2004, outside of a few weeks in 2007 following his "heart attack", Long deserves some kind of raise or at least a change in scenery. If both brands are together now more than in year's past, have the same people in charge of all.
Maybe Teddy Long will have a special interest in the result of CM Punk and Triple H this Sunday at Night of Champions. It may spell big changes for the job that Long is doing in WWE. Long could even become the new COO if Triple H loses. How could would that be playas?
