Huge WWE News, Releases, and More
It is another new day in the WWE and another bit on news to report. According to WWE.com and pwrestlingnews.com, the WWE has released another superstar. This time from the ECW brand.
Armando Estrada was released today, as I said in an article before about Linda McMahon, she said that more releases were to come. And I personally said that if the WWE Superstars are not making a contribution they will get the axe by the WWE.
Estrada figured that out quickly. Once he was written out from the ECW GM job and put into more of a wrestling environment. Which really was the beginning of the end for Estrada.

He was more of a manager or GM rather than a wrestler. And Teddie Long has been doing to well as GM, so him going back to the job was out of the question.
Another bit of news I found that was interesting was that Reid Flier, Ric Flair's son was supposed to debut this month on WWE TV. It was cancelled by Ric Flair himself, which was really puzzling.
He felt that Reid wasn't quite ready and he needed more training. He has been training Reid himself and FCW has been in the picture as well. He has been in FCW for a while now and they felt he was ready, which was the reason for the call up.
But since Flair cancelled he didn't go. I fell that in the end it will be good that Flair did this for his son. Some WWE Superstars who have a lot of promise come up to soon and are not ready just yet.
Lets take the recently released Kenny Dykstra as an example, he came up in the spirit squad a couple of years ago at 18 years old. He barely had any time to get his feet under him.
They pushed him to singles where he did poorly because it exposed his lack of wrestling ability. And that was the reason for his release. Being Ric Flair's son is a good thing for Reid in my opinion.
But also a burden too, see you are RIC FLAIR'S Son, not some kind of dude of the street. Your dad is arguably the best of all time, and the only person ever to be a 16 time World Champion.
And Reid knows that, so when his father says he isn't ready, I would believe him.
There was some major drug testing backstage at RAW Monday, it became a regular thing a while back after Eddie Guerrero's death, but way more after Chris Benoit's. No one was believed to have failed it.
But since the WWE does not release its drug test rests, it is uncertain if any failed or did not. But for now it is still believed that everyone was clear.
More wrestling news from the WWE includes:
In the past referees have been assigned to one brand and would tour with that brand for house shows. This policy has been done away with, and from now on WWE will have one group of referees on the road one week, then another group on the next loop.
The company will go by seniority, which means that referees who have a longer tenure will get more work while others may be sent back down to WWE developmental or possibly be eliminated from the company."
That was from pwrestlingnews.com, but in any case it is pretty stupid. See you have all these refs which are good, but never get that chance to show it. Some were even fired because they were not seen enough.
That is the WWE's fault not the ref's. See when you show a ref and he does bad, that is on him, but when you never give him chances, then it becomes the company's problem and never the ref's.
Sure you have guys who you see every week and at every PPV. Heck even Teddy Long was a ref at one time in the WWE. He got chances and even moved out of that role into a great one.
Of course he did have a background in it from previous work in another company that the WWE owns now. But we are not going to name names "WCW".
But you always see the senior ref like Rudy Charles out there calling the match, especially Championship matches. Why not give the young refs a chance?
But what do you guys think of this news and do you have any to add?
