WWE: 10 Reasons Bret Hart Should Be the RAW GM
He can still bring the crowd to its feet when he walks down the ramp on Raw, SmackDown or any wrestling program he appears on.
Yes, Bret Hart still has the touch.
With changes being made in the company, and the new COO wanting to add some interest to the brand (which I am hoping will soon become one brand), Hart is a great "enforcer" to bring in as the Raw General Manager.
Bye bye, computer!
Here are some reasons why Hart should be given the title and have control over a program that needs more angles from its current roster.
The Best There Is. The Best There Was. The Best There Ever Will Be.
1 of 10He was the "Excellence of execution" in the ring, and stood up to anyone.
He could really throw his weight around against the likes of The Miz, R-Truth and even John Cena.
Raw Needs Another Guy in Jorts!
2 of 10OK, I had to throw that one in there.
Sometimes I like to be a little comedic!
You Know the Possibility of Hart vs. Shawn Michaels Is Always There
3 of 10The classic feud revisited?
If Triple H can get back in the ring, why couldn't Hart and Shawn Michaels?
Michaels appears on the show from time to time, and his friendship with Triple H almost assures him of being asked to appear again.
Everyone would love to see a confrontation.
It May Mean Some Variation of the Hart Foundation Would Return
4 of 10Natalya is wrestling with Beth Phoenix and maybe Tyson Kidd could come over from SmackDown.
If the company decided to reinvent the tag team division, Hart could be a player in that development.
He Has More Authority Than Teddy Long
5 of 10There are two brands of WWE, for now.
If they join and become one (yes, I pray this happens) then it would be more likely that Hart would be a better fit for GM than the smarmy Teddy Long.
The Potential for a Triple H/Bret Hart Wrestlemania Match Is Then on the Table
6 of 10Hart taking on his boss? Who ever came up with that idea.
LOL. Sometimes, I really crack myself up.
Seriously, though, a match between the two, provided Hart can wrestle at 75% of what he used to, could be a pretty decent match.
Not Undertaker/Triple H quality. But still a good match.
He Could Be Part of the Text-Gate Scandal?
7 of 10It sounds odd, but there are more wrestlers than Kevin Nash that have a beef with the company over spilt milk in the past.
If Hart jumps into this angle, look for Shawn Michaels or X-Pac to show up as well as part of "The Kliq."
Because It Gives Vince McMahon Another Reason to Be on Television
8 of 10He owns the company and doesn't need any permission to be on the screen, but it would just be a "reason" for us to see the strutting Vinnie Mac race down the ramp again.
What about a Vince vs. Hart match at a WrestleMania Event?
He Would Be a Better Choice Than Mick Foley
9 of 10Foley is good on the microphone and has a great persona but, for me, he is not as good as someone who can really push his weight around.
Foley wanted a bigger say in creative decisions at TNA, and when that didn't happen, he left.
Will he want the same thing at WWE, and will the creative team in the company agree to that, if that were to happen?
I think Hart would have the television role without the drama associated with creation of matches, etc.
Because He Is Still One Bad Ass, Period!
10 of 10He can still handle himself in the ring.
He can still speak his mind and usually does.
He would put some order back into wrestling, and that is what the WWE needs.
