Man City v. Tottenham: Both Sides Need to Sort Out Their Defence
Man City v. Tottenham Preview
Man City and Tottenham are two very evenly matched teams on paper but when you look at recent results it is Tottenham who have the upper hand.
Man City have lost their last two games, whereas Tottenham have had somewhat of a revival under the messiah that is Harry Redknapp—although it is still early stages in Harry Houdini's managerial spell at Tottenham and i'm still not exactly sure what to expect from them.

Man City have had real defensive problems recently, they have been all over the place at the back and the own goals seem to have been flying in so they will have to sort that out if they are to start winning again.
They will have to do that without Vincent Kompany today who is suspended, but they do have Richards, Dunne, and Ben Haim to choose from at the centre half position.
Man City also haven't scored since Robinho's hat trick against Stoke but striker Benjani is on his way back from an injury and he is fighting for a place in the starting 11 this Sunday.
Tottenham themselves haven't exactly been strong defensively this year but Ledley King will come back into the side after being rested for the mid-week UEFA Cup tie, so that will give Spurs a boost.
Jermaine Jenas however, is a big doubt for Tottenham which would be a huge blow to them in the middle of the park.
With both these sides defensive frailties I expect a few goals here today, if Tottenham get a system together with two strikers up front they could really hurt this Man City defence who are running low on confidence at the minute—but I suppose the exact same thing could be said about the Tottenham defence and with a goalkeeper like Gomes behind them, it doesn't make it any better.
