Who's Hot and Who's Not in the NBA: Week One
WHO'S HOT? FIRE ALERT!
The list of players below are a few of the best players playing in the fantasy NBA league as of Week One of the NBA season.
+Chris Bosh (TOR,PF/C)
Chris Bosh is on fire early on this season, averaging 26 points, 10.75 boards, and three assists in 42.5 minutes per game. Bosh will continue to produce all season long
+Ramon Sessions (MIL,PG)
Sessions is playing sensationally, averaging 17 points, eight assists, four boards, and nearly two steals per game. Expect Sessions to become the starting point guard for the Bucks very shortly. When it happens, he will be a huge breakout fantasy player.
+Andris Biedrins (GS,C)
Biedrins is playing like an All-Star so far, averaging way beyond a double-double, with 16.40 ppg, 13.80 rpg, 1.2 apg, and 1.6 bpg. If he can keep it up, he will be one of the best centers in the league this season.
+Jose Calderon (TOR,PG)
Calderon is raising eyebrows around the entire NBA with his amazing skills—and his assist-to-turnover ratio. Jose is averaging 19.5 points per game this season, along with 9.2 assists and four boards. Calderon's breakout season has already begun. He will be one of the top three fantasy point-guards this season.
WHO'S NOT? ICE COLD
The players below should be doing better than they are in the league right now.
-Jermaine O'Neal (TOR, PF)
O'Neal is struggling so far this season, and looks like he isn't used to the Raptors and head coach Sam Mitchell's system quite yet. He is averaging only 10.25 points, with 6.25 boards and almost two blocks so far. His numbers aren't horrible, but much more is expected from O'Neal. Hopefully he gets his game together and goes back to the All-Star form he was in for years.
Mike Conley (MEM, PG)
Conley hasn't done much of anything so far this first week of the season. He is off to a very slow start, averaging only 5.6 points with four assists and 2.4 boards in 24.2 minutes per game. Conley has a lot of talented players around him, and his numbers should increase as the season progresses.
-Leandro Barbosa (PHX, SG)
After winning the Sixth Man Award two seasons ago, Barbosa looks as if he won't have much of a fantasy impact this season. With D'Antoni in New York, Barbosa's playing time will be limited. He is averaging only 8.8 points per game, with 3.4 boards and two assists in 21.8 minutes of play.
-Ricky Davis (LAC, SF)
Playing in all 82 games last season as a Miami Heat starter, Ricky was projected to be a pretty decent fantasy players this season in Los Angeles. Davis is having a terrible season so far, averaging 2.6 points, two assists, and 1.4 boards in 18.2 minutes of play. Ricky is a very unproductive player this season, and looks like he can no longer be relied on for fantasy.
