Nnamdi Asomugha Eagles: Free Agent CB Makes Philadelphia Super Bowl Favorites
Friday evening, Nnamdi Asomugha signed a contract with the Philadelphia Eagles, a surprise team in the sweepstakes for his services.
Asomugha makes the Eagles instant Super Bowl contenders along with the other pieces around the team.
Here are a few reasons why the Eagles are now the best team in the NFL and the favorites to win the Lombardi Trophy in 2011.

Best CB Trio Ever?
1 of 4The Eagles have assembled a cornerback trio that now features Nnamdi Asomugha, Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie and Asante Samuel.
Asante Samuel and Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie were legitimate No. 1 cornerbacks last year for their respective teams.
Now, adding the best (arguable) cornerback in the league may make this the best cornerback trio ever.
They're Head and Shoulders Above Their Division
2 of 4Before Asomugha's signing, the NFC East looked like a very even, winnable division for all parties involved.
The Giants, Cowboys and Eagles were all capable teams with legitimate playoff aspirations—the Eagles had a slight lead, but the division was wide open.
Now, no one will be able to pass the football on Philadelphia and teams will be forced to run the football in a pass-first league.
They Have a Pass Rush, Too
3 of 4After signing Pro Bowl defensive end Jason Babin to line up across from Trent Cole, teams won't be able to drop back and pass the ball on the Eagles.
Babin and Cole are two of the premier defensive ends in the NFL today and will anchor a good front seven on Philadelphia.
After being known for their exciting offense last year, the Eagles should be a top-five defensive team in 2011.
Their Offense Is Stacked Too
4 of 4The Eagles may have the fastest offense in the NFL with Michael Vick, LeSean McCoy, DeSean Jackson, Jeremy Maclin, Vince Young, Noel Devine and Jerrod Johnson.
The Eagles will dominate teams on both sides of the football in 2011, making it hard for most teams to even compete.
Philadelphia will finally get their Lombardi Trophy in 2011.
