TNA News: CM Punk Move Over, RVD and Generation Me Involved in War of Words
Yes, CM Punk has become the news of the summer—if not the year.
However, there is other news in the world of wrestling and one of those stories have emerged from TNA.
Last week, The Miami Herald spoke to TNA star Rob Van Dam. One of the topics discussed was about backstage business of TNA in regards to treatment of talent.

To which he responded:
""I feel like I get respect, but not in that way," Van Dam said. "I'm open to it. Most of the guys, I don't know if they don't feel welcome to ask me or any of the other veterans or what. That is probably an issue that we have is the young guys should ask some of the older guys. They should be saying, 'Hey, watch my match. Let me know what I can improve on.'
"
The young guys he was referring to was none other than the tag-team Generation Me aka Young Bucks. As you may know, the Young Bucks recently asked and was granted their release from TNA.
Both had nothing negative to say about TNA, they just needed to make money. Being as TNA pays per appearance they needed to go somewhere that would book them. As they have been pretty much side-lined for months with TNA.
According to wrestlinginc.com, the Bucks have not only seen the article they felt the need to respond to it. Where else does a wrestler respond to any allegations? twitter of course.
Here are the responses from both Max and Jeremy:
"@mattjackson13:"I never introduced myself to (Rob Van Dam)? Then who was that guy who wore jean shorts & Golds Gym tank-tops, that I met & always said hi to?
"I'm a 26 yr old, married man w/a child on the way & have been wrestling 8 yrs around the world. I'm not a kid but thx for the compliment!"
@nickjacksonyb: Apparently we're young guys straight out of high school who don't respect veterans. Well that's what RVD says at least. Unreal!"
"
It should be noted that Max and Jeremy tweet under their real names Matt and Nick Jackson. Needless to say, one of these parties doesn't have their story straight. Or simply put, RVD may have felt that "Hi" was not enough in terms of respect for him or the business.
I have personally met RVD and he is a pretty mellow guy. In fact, he was willing to let me interview him and pick his brain for a bit. So he is definitely approachable and very knowledgeable. Personally, I was a bit star-struck and feel that I would have taken advantage of his years of knowledge.
Don't get me wrong I am not saying he is the end-all/be-all of wrestling, as he clearly has made some mistakes in his career. Most notably taking time off from TNA, during a WHC run. That being said, he still does have something to offer younger wrestlers and if he wants to do it, all the better.
