Colts Release Kenny Moore

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
TEAM STUDS:
QB: Drew Brees, Saints
Drew Brees snags his Top Fantasy QB title back this week after tearing up his former team in London. That’s his fourth game of the season with three TD’s. You like that, don’t ya? You may heard that Brees is on pace for more than 5000 yards passing. Do the math and that is quite the fantasy season even without the TD’s.
RB: Brian Westbrook, Eagles
Westy is back in form with his best game of the season and best since Week Two. Two TD’s on 167 yards. More through the air. If Westbrook can remain healthy he should be one of the top RB’s for the second half of the season.
RB: LaDainian Tomlinson, Chargers
Well, look who has decided to join the Team Stud party this season! Trying to make a dramatic entrance LT? 105 yards on the ground and another 65 yards in the air on five catches with a TD. Tomlinson heats up just in time for the bye week. SO did you hang on to LT or did you trade him this season?
WR: Santana Moss, Redskins
Moss returns to Team Stud. He is looking a lot like the Santana Moss that came to the Skins in 2005 that ended with 1483 yards and nine TD’s. If you get points for return TD’s you got a bonus. If you don’t and you were playing the guy with the redskins D that sucks for you. Moss has an injured hammy that may keep him out of next weeks game.
WR: Roddy White, Falcons
We knew Roddy White had potential, right? Who would have thought this guy would be studding it up with a rookie QB throwing to him? Two TD’s on 113 yards this week. White is a candidate to finish the season a TOP Five fantasy WR. Whodathunkit?
TE: Dallas Clark, Colts
Clark has been having a pretty pedestrian year in 2008. 94 yards and two TD’s if you still started him this week. It looked like Antonio Gates was finally going to get his spot on Team Stud this week but Clark swooped in and took it away on Monday Night Football. Come to think of it, we have not seen many Colts on Team Stud at all this year, if at all.
DT/ST: Houston Texans
Yeah, that’s right…the Texans! A couple of sacks, a few turnovers, a defensive TD and only allowing six points does the defensive team good! IF you were starting them you have a magic eight ball or you are really hurting because they have had a pretty poor season as a fantasy D.
INDIVIDUAL DEFENSIVE PLAYERS (IDP)
LB: Kirk Morrison, Raiders
Morrison has been pretty quiet this season. He has been giving you some okay LB numbers but nothing staggering. This week may not have been staggering either but was enough to outplay all the other fantasy LB’s. 11 tackles and a couple assists.
DL: Shaun Rogers, Browns
The big man brought in some huge numbers for a defensive tackle. A blocked FG, nine tackles, and a sack. Not worth trying to obtain him as this was a major improvement over his other games. In fact it’s more than what he usually gets in two weeks combined.
DB: Brandon Flowers, Chiefs
The rookie has his breakout game. Proud to say I had him in my starting lineup this week covering for Antoine Winfield. Two picks, one for a TD, five tackles, three assists, and a couple more passes defensed. Couldn’t ask for much more from him as a rookie. Like Rogers above, this about two weeks worth for Flowers but if you are in a Dynasty league grab him if you can.
TEAM DUDS:
QB: Ben Roethlisberger, Steelers
We expected so much more for you this season Ben. This week he throws four INT’s in his worst game since Week Two. IN a reoccurring event, Ben spent a lot of time on his back again this week. Fun facts…this is the fourth game that Ben had 13 or less completions…ouch.
RB: Michael Turner, Falcons
Turner has been cold for a few weeks now. Sure, we can’t fault him for playing the Eagles but someone has to fill this spot and Turner has not been burning since week five. 58 yards.
RB: Brandon Jacobs, Giants
Like Turner above, someone has to fill a spot, even if they were playing the Steelers. Things about the Giants is they can play to what they need to do to win. Sometimes Jacobs is not included in that. 47 yards on the ground with one catch for six yards.
WR: Reggie Wayne, Colts
Wayne gets another busts week as he watches Dallas Clark get in the VIP room at Football Jabber. The second Dud week in a row for Wayne, only 29 yards on three grabs. Not what you like to see at all out of such a high draft pick.
WR: Terrell Owens, Cowboys
T.O. has not turned it on since Week Five. So just how much does this guy depend on Tony Romo in his game? Roy Williams got a TD this week. That cannot sit well with Owens even though he was over patting his back afterward. 33 yards on five receptions this week.
TE: Jason Witten, Cowboys
Huh? Wait a…what? Jason Witten gets one catch for eight yards? Does Brad Johnson think this is the days back when TE’s were meant for blocking? We think it is safe to say that Witten will come out of this week looking okay. He is still the most dominant TE in 2008.
DT/ST: Tennessee Titans
A couple of things were bound to happen sometime this year. There was bound to be a time when the Titans did not get to a QB, allowed a bunch of yards, and gave up a few TD’s. There was also bound to be a time that the Colts looked more like the Colts.
INDIVIDUAL DEFENSIVE PLAYERS (IDP)
LB: Dhani Jones, Browns
At one time he was leading the league in tackles. This week, one tackle. Nuff said.
DL: Charles Grant, Saints
Grant has not been stellar but he has been consistent this season. So when he logged one tackle and one pass defensed this season you had to feel it if he is on your team.
DB: Antonio Cromarti, Chargers
Come on MAN! You are playing the Saints, right? (Before the Saints fans roll in on that one, I’m one too). Cromarti is losing his IDP status by having these average games every other week. Which, doing the math would have him doing well next week, on the bye week.
Watch this week for the position by position breakdown of how players have performed in comparison to their draft positions at Football Jabber.
