TNA: WWE Wrestlers Who Could Be Superstars
There is such a thing as wrestling purgatory—it's the fine line between being the big star and trying to establish yourself for a big payday.
The WWE has many superstars caught in mid-level status that could use a change of scenery and who, given the chance, could find gold with a career move.
IMPACT is in a state of flux right now, caught in a state that is not yet defined. While characters are injured and corporate executives are leaving, there is a sense that things may implode. With the current roster of veterans and few young superstars to build on, the need to import or sign athletes from rival organizations has become vital.
With many superstars caught in the flux of being mid-level stars in WWE's two brings, here are some wrestlers who could make a splash in IMPACT and be phenomenal.
Alex Riley

Riley is on the right track in the WWE. But what happens when he is finished with his feud with The Miz?
Who will take his place as the lead heel in this confrontation?
Riley is raw and needs some training, but he has the look and the skills to prove he can make it as a champion. He would be great as a challenger to Eric Young's television title.
Cody Rhodes

Cody Rhodes is getting to the point where he is at the top of the food chain, but in IMPACT he could go higher than expected.
Rhodes is finally showing he is a singles superstar. In TNA, he challenges for the world title immediately. And wouldn't he look great as a new member in Fortune?
If Gunner needs a new guy to feud with, Rhodes is his man.
Daniel Bryan

Feuds with Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase, Jr., have proven to show Bryan's worth.
The former US Heavyweight Champion needs a little more personality to his game—but he is well on his way.
He would also add some more life to the X-Division if he came on board.
Dolph Ziggler

Don't tell Ziggler this, but he is stuck in mid-card status. If he moved to Florida, he could be a lead heel and champion in no time. He is the opposite of A.J. Styles and would match well with him if the two feuded and drew some heat.
Ziggler could also get rid of Vickie Guerrero and show that as an individual he is definitely an up-and-coming star.
Drew McIntyre

The Chosen One is more style than substance.
But, with the right story line and a great makeover, he can be a star. He took his licks in Florida and would be a great addition to Fortune as an adversary for Matt Hardy.
Evan Bourne
6 of 10
Evan Bourne is such a key component to any X-Division chase.
Bourne is a risk taker and a great mat wrestler. He and Kazarian or Brian Kendrick could go round and round in a tournament-style feud for the X-Division Championship.
Mark Henry
7 of 10
This may sound odd, but Henry has been in the WWE for years and has not gotten to the top of the mountain.
If Henry is as strong and good as he is, then why does he not have WWE gold?
Trading space and coming to IMPACT could pit him against Matt Morgan or Scott Steiner—and while the two TNA stars are more gifted, it would be interesting to see how power and strength win out.
Mason Ryan

The Big Man can find a home here.
As a bidder with Nexxus, he cannot show his skills.
As a singles giant in IMPACT, he becomes an instant success.
A war with Crimson would be titanic.
Jack Swagger
9 of 10
Challenging Booker T just shows how far Swagger has fallen. He is a former world champion and needs a true foe to make him great again.
Maybe Bobby Roode or Chris Daniels would give him a chance to show that fire again—it would also get him away from challenging the likes of Jerry Lawler and Jim Ross.
Ted DiBiase, Jr.

Make the move, Ted, and you will be a champion.
All this kid needs is a fire lit under his ass. He is more gifted than about 80 percent of the IMPACT roster and can show off his skills in the ring. Maybe he can make a face turn and become a fan favorite.
It also will allow him to be closer to home, which allows for a new environment and hopefully a successful singles career.
