Fantasy Football Start Em & Sit Em: Week 8
With each and every week that passes by, line-up decisions become more and more crucial. Making the wrong choice could be the difference between winning and losing, and let us tell you, there's not a whole of time to make those losses up. So, why even worry about them in the first place? Instead, turn to the Bruno Boys for your Week 8 Start Em & Sit Em, and let us make those difficult line-up decisions for you.

QUARTERBACKS - START 'EM
Matt Schaub (Houston Texans) vs. Cincinnati
The Cincinnati Bengals do rank 6th against the pass at the moment, allowing only 179.1 pass yards per game. However, recently, the Bengals' secondary has struggled. Out of the 10 passing TDs the Bengals have allowed this season, 7 have come in their last 3 games. Schaub appears to be comfortable in the pocket this season, going for 12+ fantasy points in all but one of the games he has played in, a match-up with the tough Tennessee Titans' defense. Against the Bengals, look for Schaub to not only put up mutliple TDs, but to also cause a spike in the Bengals pass yards allowed.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Jason Campbell (Washington Redskins) @ Detroit
From week 2 to week 4, it looked like Campbell was taking that next step as an NFL quarterback as the Redskins' QB threw for 745 yards, 5 TDs, and 0 INTs. The INTs are still not a cause for concern as Campbell has yet to throw one this season; yet from week 5 to week 7, Campbell has regressed some, racking up just 548 passing yards and 1 TD, causing Campbell to slip from a must play to a match-up play. Well, the match-up is right in week 8 as Campbell will be slinging the ball against the Detroit Lions and their 31st ranked pass defense.
Jake Delhomme (Carolina Panthers) vs. Arizona
Delhomme has really been a hit or miss play this season, going for 13+ points in four of the Panthers' games and just 3 points in each of the team's other three. So, which is it going to be this week? Obviously, as you can tell by Delhomme's placement in the Start Em section of this article, we think he'll earn his fifth 13+ outing of the year. The Cardinals rank 20th against the pass this season, allowing 220.3 passing yards per game and have given up 12 passing TDs on the year, so the match-up is not a bad one. The other thing that could benefit Delhomme this week is the potency of the Arizona Cardinals' offense, which leads the league by averaging 29.5 points per game. With the Cardinals likely to keep things close, Delhomme will have more chances to pass than in weeks past, when the Panthers were content in going to their running game to run out the clock.

QUARTERBACKS - SIT 'EM
Eli Manning (New York Giants) @ Pittsburgh
Manning's numbers weren't anything to write home about in week 7 as he tallied just 161 passing yards and a TD, but the fact that he didn't make a mistake by turning over the ball, speaks volumes to the new Eli as the old Eli would have had a tough time putting the 3 interceptions from week 6 behind him. We should get another chance to see that maturity out of Eli in week 9 because the Pittsburgh Steelers and their number one ranked pass defense should keep the QB under wraps this Sunday.
Matt Ryan (Atlanta Falcons) @ Philadelphia
Enough can't be said about the masterful job Matt Ryan is doing at quarterback in just his first season in the NFL. In fact, Ryan has looked so good that it's easy to forget he is a rookie. We will be reminded of that this week, though, as Ryan will have a tough time dealing with the Philadelphia Eagles' blitz packages. Growing pains for Ryan may be few and far between this season, but week 8 appears to be setting up for one.
Brad Johnson (Dallas Cowboys) vs. Tampa Bay
Johnson made his first start last week since 2006, and it was obvious that the QB will need sometime to shake off the rust. The Rams, by no means, are a staunch pass defense, but Johnson made them look like one as he threw 3 interceptions and loss a fumble. If he can't get things done against a pass defense that ranks 25th in the league, how do you expect him to do it against a team ranked 10 spots higher.
