NHL senior vice president Mike Murphy and Burrows spoke today about the incident, and Murphy said the following today in an ESPN NHL article updated June 2:
"After reviewing the incident, including speaking with the on-ice officials, I can find no conclusive evidence that Alex Burrows intentionally bit the finger of Patrice Bergeron," Murphy said in a statement.

Bergeron is a player many around the league feel would never embellish an injury or physical issue.
On the NBC telecast of Game 1 last night, Bergeron was seen showing teammate Mark Recchi his finger which appeared to have blood on it.
Whether or not Burrows bit Bergeron, he will be available for the Canucks going forward.
Game 2 of the 2011 Stanley Cup Finals between the Bruins and Canucks is Saturday at 8:00 p.m. ET on NBC.
