The Buffalo Bills(5-1) are going down to Florida on Sunday to play against the Miami Dolphins(2-4) in an AFC East match-up.
The Bills defense doesn't have to many big weaknesses. They are in the top 10 in most categories on defense.
Except against the run

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
That's where Miami comes in. I really think that the run should be called as much as 75% of the time. The other 25% will be Pennington throwing against a defense that will be spread out looking for the run.
Neither Ronnie Brown, or Ricky Williams had a good game last week, so they will be chomping at the bit to get a lot of yardage this week. Which is exactly why they should get the ball. And, Miami's new starting fullback, Lousaka Polite, should get a few carries as well, because if Parcells is willing to sign him, then he must fit into the offense well.
So, even though Pennington might not get a whole lot of opportunities to throw that way. He will still have great stats, because when he does throw the ball, the receivers will be wide open.
The Dolphins defense, led by Joey Porter, will need to pressure Trent Edwards into making throws he doesn't want to make. He is a very efficient passer with a rating of 98.8. Edwards is also exceedingly good in the second half of games with a passer rating of 117.3.
So, basically, Edwards gets better as defenses get more tired later in the game. The only way to stop him from going crazy in the second half, is to wear him down in the first half. That means knocking him down as much as possible. Even if Miami can't sack him, they will still at least be able to wear him out.
If the Dolphins are able to do all of that, they should have an easy win.
