Go Easy Haters: The Cowboys Will Still Emerge The NFC Champions
Ok, everybody stay calm.
Tony Romo is handling his pinkie finger fracture like a Dallas Cowboys Quarterback. The man wants to play. He isn't booking any trips to Cabo, or sitting at home playing Madden. He's practicing, and not only is he practicing, according to ESPN sources, he's "throwing the ball with good velocity and confidence"
According to ESPN's Matt Mosely, Brett Farve called Tony Romo and gave him some veteran manly advice. Farve was reported as saying, "The only thing I said was, it's worth trying [to play] if you can deal with the pain and can function good enough with a splint. If not, don't try.''

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
I don’t know about anyone else, but I just fell in love with Tony Romo a little more after learning that Brett Farve is a friend and confidant. Giants fans are going to hate that.
The Cowboys aren't going anywhere, and although they may be injury laden at the moment, rest assured it's temporary.
Here's what we know.
Terrence Newman, Mat McBriar, Sam Hurd, and Pacman Jones are officially afterthoughts. They’re done. It's time to adapt and overcome.
Guess what else we know? The Cowboys now have Roy Williams. The twenty six year old will draw a ton of attention away from Terrell Owens and blow this offense wide open. Jason Garrett might have a chance to look like a decent offensive coordinator from here on out.
Felix Jones will not miss the game against Tampa. Anthony Spencer and Keith Davis won't miss that game either. Oh, did I mention that the hardest hitting safety in the league, Roy Williams, is practicing? Look to see him against Tampa as well.
Plus sized LT Flozell Adams, C Andre Gurode, S Patrick Watkins, FB Deon Anderson, and Tank Johnson will all play on Sunday against the Rams. These are football players. Football players play with "hurts." There is a distinct difference between "hurts" and "injuries," and I assure you, these guys know the difference.
That said, what have we learned?
The entire Defense with the exception of Terrence Newman and Adam Jones is in tact. Anthony Henry and rocket fast rookie Mike Jenkins have all the talent necessary to secure the corners. Admittedly, Cowboys Defensive Coordinator Brian Stewart will have to shuffle some personal to accommodate the loss of Jones, but he can lean on a front four like Ware, Ellis, Spencer, and Ratliff to cause the extra disruption that will keep the defense sound.
The offense will do just fine against the Rams, and will be even better against Tampa when 6'8 monster LG Kyle Kosier is back in action.
The receiving core is now a quadruple threat. Owens, Williams, Crayton, and Witten all DEMAND attention on the field. Look for rookie Tashard Choice to prove his salt this weekend as the Rams secondary is going to have its hands full.
Expect the Cowboys to play a little differently on Sunday against the Rams. Expect them to play angry. Expect the Cowboys to prove that they aren't a bunch of cupcakes and they are certainly not to be written off.
The Cowboys will crush the Rams, handle the Bucs, and go to war with the Giants, coming out on top each time and entering the bye week 7-2.
