Arsene Wenger: 5 Reasons Why Coach Is Irreplaceable to Arsenal
Arsene Wenger and Arsenal.
Should I say more?
Wenger is a manager that has inarguably changed Arsenal forever. He's won trophies, built a stadium, and brought fantastic players into the game. Arsene is more than just a manager, he's an enigma, a symbol of everything that Arsenal stand for. The passing game, the youth system, all of it was created or built upon by Arsene. His contribution to the club in undeniable, but the club's recent dip in form has many questioning Wengers place as the head of Arsenal.
But then there are too many people who are not associated with Arsenal who do not recognize Wenger’s uniqueness. Oh yes, he has won things and changed the club and so-on, they say blithely, but they want him out now.
In this article, I will attempt to present why Wenger is irreplaceable to Arsenal FC.
If Not Him Then Who?

So let’s play along with that preposterous idea for a moment. Let’s imagine that a club which sacked the chief executive who masterminded their new stadium could perform a second deed of gross ingratitude and ease Wenger to one side.
Perhaps he could be given some roll within the club and grateful thanks and all that, but kept out of the decision making during the week and the touchline area on match days.
Then who?
It is when you try to consider who might be the next Arsenal manager that you begin to realize that nobody would be able to pick up and run with the torch that Wenger has carried for 12 years.
There are considerable problems this season. If Arsenal do not qualify for the Champions League next term, then the squad could start to unravel.
But sacking Wenger is the daftest idea ever proposed in a game which has an alarming propensity for doing barmy things.
Arsenal without Wenger equals Lakers without Phil Jackson
Sticks with His Players

I have heard it countless times. In January 2006, a publication that "associates" itself with Arsenal, said Wenger had lost the plot and lambasted him for persisting with Thierry Henry “who is playing so badly”.
And when we consider the current arguments against the Gunners’ boss, let’s not accept the self-serving nonsense from William Gallas and co.
Many repeat the "you wont win anything with kids" .Yet,the Arsenal kids show real bravery in every game in which they keep taking people on and keep passing the ball when opponents are trying to kick and foul.
Yet sadly, every time Arsenal lose a game too many fans with short memories and tiny minds opine: “Arsene’s done great – don’t get me wrong – but it is time for someone else”.
I repeat: “Who?”
He HAS Won Trophies, and Its Only a Matter of Time

Who can forget the 2003/4 season, in which a brilliant Wenger led a talented young Arsenal squad to an undefeated season. Something that has only been done twice in EPL history.
Firstly, he's been there since the nineties, that alone is quite admirable. And what's this about not winning trophies? Yes there is currently a trophy drought, but all droughts come to an end. They've won 3 PL titles and several cup titles under Wenger. Wenger has proven that playing with youngsters can win you trophies, Wenger's proven that before. I cannot believe someones being encouraged to stop focusing on youngsters, Managers who are willing to let youngsters play are special, and Wenger does just that, it's his talent.
Talent Production

Wenger has a long, proven track record of producing talented players who take the world by storm. These players grow up with Wenger, and are loyal to Wenger. This means they are willing to give more for Wenger than any other manager who would replace him. Wenger can motivate his players to new limits, and help achieve things previously thought not possible (the invincible).
These players include, but are not limited to:
Wilshere, Walcott, Ashley Cole (arguably the best in his position), van Persie, Adams, Fabregas, Henry, Nasri
*it an be argued that Barca produced Cesc, but it can also be argued the other way. Arsenal developed him from 16 years old, just like Barca did Messi. Would you say Messi is a product of Argentina?
Gave the Club Direction

When he joined the club in 1996 it was almost a ship without a rudder.
When the Frenchman joined, he was well respected in France and Japan but of course the press over here in their own myopic way, didn't know much about him and were even saying Arsene who?
I believe his first two signings were Remi Garde (who remembers this skilful little player) and of course a certain AC Milan reserve and understudy to Desailly a Patrick Vieira. As soon as Arsene joined the club changed almost overnight but I suppose it took a year, and we went from a slightly huffing and puffing London club straight onto the World stage.
Wenger gave Henry the confidence the express himself and can you honestly see Arsenal without Mr. Henry up front, running at defenders, who he must give nightmares to on the eve of a game. His record at Arsenal is something like 80 goals in 140 odd games, which compares most favourably with that other goal scoring legend Ian Wright.
Bergkamp has also blossomed under Wenger to become in my own humble view the best player to don the famous red and white shirt at Highbury.
Arsene Wenger has transformed Arsenal into a club to be proud of, the youth set up is arguably the best in England and the players coming through the ranks bring great hope in a time when football thankfully has reached saturation point and the clubs have got a hold on the transfer market. Hopefully no more silly money being splashed out on average players with inflated egos. The club have had their fair share of these players, but for every one of them they have a Bergkamp or Ljungberg to be proud of, knowing they cherish the shirt they play in and give everything to represent the Arsenal.

If you've read my other article (link below), you'd find that it directly refutes it. I think that a good writer can take two directly opposing points pf view, and see the issue from both, and write for both. That is what i strive to do. Unfortunately, i published the anti-Wenger article first, and so I've received plenty of comments and messages telling me how wrong i am. I don't mind though, i love reading feedback about my writing.
Of course, there are probably points I didn't cover, so feel free to post them in the comments section below.
Thank you for reading!
