Liverpool FC: Steven Gerrard's Injury Adds to Kenny Dalglish's Woes
Liverpool FC skipper Steven Gerrard has been ruled out for the rest of the season. The England international, 30, has suffered several groin complaints and will not feature for the Reds again this season.
Gerrard has made 21 appearances in the Premier League, scoring four goals, and has not featured in the first team since the 3-1 win over Manchester United in early March. He was forced to undergo groin surgery soon after.
Liverpool were hopeful that Gerrard would be fit to feature at West Brom last weekend, but he pulled out of the club at the last minute. Kenny Dalglish will now have to do without the midfielder for the last seven games of the Premier League campaign.
