Fantasy Football: Sit/Start and Advice to Succeed
Regarding the photo above, I sing the song: "One of these things is not like the other one, one of these things does not belong..."
The answer? Plaxico, because he won't be playing this week.
And with all obvious statements aside, let's dive into why the other four receivers are important, and some other huge things you need to know for this weekend.

Colts Release Kenny Moore

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
-Those four receivers are going to have a huge day:
Terrell Owens
Do you really think, even for a second, that Jerry Jones won't do what is necessary to keep his money man happy? I wouldn't be shocked if Owens had 15 grabs and two or more scores. It is Cincy, after all.
Steve Smith
Last week was good, but he and Delhomme are just getting better with each other, and they're facing Kansas City. Yeah, I like his chances, too.
Chad Johnson
He hasn't done diddly squat yet, but he's got to break out sometime, right? The Dallas corners can be had, and if Carson Palmer plays, Johnson will duel with Owens all day.
Matt Jones
Don't talk to me about the return of Jerry Porter. Matt Jones is slowly becoming the guy in Jacksonville, and it sure shouldn't stop as the Jags take on the Steelers. Just look at what Derrick Mason did on Monday night.
-This week's Monday night game with New Orleans and Minnesota is going to be an offensive explosion. With defensive tackle Sedrick Ellis out for the Saints, Adrian Peterson will have extra room to run. Also, Lance Moore is a safe bet for another seven grabs, and who knows what kind of damage he'll do with them. In other words, if you have a Saint or Vike, play them.
-If you have Chris Johnson and aren't starting him yet, shame on you. Last week's two touchdowns against the Vikings showed he's going to be used more inside the ten than before. He's going to be a stud, folks. Play the kid.
-Deuce McAllister is back, and like it or not, he is relevant in the Saints' offense. I know this goes along with the point above, but things should be said about Deuce that simply haven't been said. He had a burst last week that we haven't seen in over a year. I wouldn't start him just yet if you have better options, but in a few weeks we'll really start seeing why he won the job back.
-Kurt Warner turns the ball over. You knew what you were getting when you drafted him. He's a less mobile Jon Kitna, with a stronger arm and better accuracy. The guy can still sling it, and has awesome weapons, but he has the elusiveness of a rock. His offensive line doesn't help, either. I say start him still, but don't complain about the results—specifically the fumbles.
-If you're in a league that supports return yards/scores, you need to get Darren Sproles. End of story.
-Don't trade Anquan Boldin, unless you know you're winning. If someone gives you a top ten back for Boldin and another player, then take it. But no receiver for receiver swapping. Boldin might be hurt for now, but he will not be slowing down any time soon. No one can be sure if the Cardinals' offense will equal a playoff appearance for them, but their stats might mean that for you. Keep him.
-Just wait one more week on these guys: Kevin Curtis, Brian Westbrook, and Willie Parker. All three will be back to their old ways in another week, and you won't be sad you didn't cut/trade them. And don't worry, the only thing Najeh Davenport has on Willie Parker is defecating in closets. Eek.
-Are you sold on these guys, yet? You should be. J.T. O'Sullivan and Jake Dehlomme haven't gone Brett Favre on us and thrown six touchdowns, but they've been playing good football and aren't turning the ball over at ungodly rates. What's better, is both are getting more comfortable each week. I would shy away from O'Sullivan as he takes on the Pats, though.
-Buy Brett Favre and the Jets' success. Their bye week is this week, so you could make a swing for Favre or one of his weapons and get better value than you give because you won't be helped out immediately. The Jets probably won't win the Super Bowl, but that offense is here to stay.
-Don't start Aaron Rodgers unless you have to. If he plays, he'll be playing still slightly injured, and he's going up against an underrated defense. In fact, keep away from any Green Bay offensive players outside of Greg Jennings. This offense could quickly become a mess.
On a side note, I did receive around five e-mails asking me who to start/sit/trade, and I did reply to them directly. I did not include them in this e-mail, though, because I wanted more responses. I can be reached for comment or assistance at (kevin.roberts@cuw.edu).
