Fantasy Football Week 4 Tight End Rankings
All pre-season long, we harped on the depth of the tight end position, but we never imagined it went this deep. In week 3, the top six tight ends were, in order, Jerramy Stevens, Anthony Fasano, Kevin Boss, Delanie Walker, Dustin Keller, and Visanthe Shiancoe. Just think of the odds you would have gotten in Vegas if you did that pick six. The question for week 4 is whether or not we'll see the regulars climb back on top, or if we'll get another assortment of characters as we did in week 3 reigning supreme. To find out, read the Bruno Boys Fantasy Football Tight End Rankings.

Colts Release Kenny Moore

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
1. Antonio Gates (San Diego Chargers) @ Oakland
Gates had two mediocre games vs Oakland in 2007, without finding the end zone, but his numbers against the Raiders in years past are pretty impressive. Gates has scored in two of the Chargers first 3 games, and the Raiders pass defense is struggling mightily this year. They ranked in the bottom ten against the pass, and you should expect Philip Rivers to exploit them early.
Point Projection: 13 points

2. Jason Witten (Dallas Cowboys) vs. Washington
Witten has 273 receiving yards thus far, which is 105 yards more than the second ranked tight end, but he has yet to score a touchdown. Also, Witten is faced with a tough matchup, as the Redskins have contained Witten in years past. He had just 8 fantasy points against the Redskins in '07, hasn't scored against them since 2005, but for some reason we like him for 65-70 receiving yards and a touchdown in Week 4. Crazy?
Point Projection: 12 points
--------------------
3. Kellen Winslow (Cleveland Browns) @ Cincinnati
Winslow and the entire Browns offense is beyond struggling. The sure handed tight end had just 2 receptions for 14 receiving yards in Week 3, but the matchup against the Bengals should warrant a better Week 4. Cincinnati is fresh off allowing 51 receiving yards and a touchdown to the tight end position, and the Browns are in a do-or-die situation. They better get their workhorse involved!
Poinit Projection: 12 points
--------------------
4. Chris Cooley (Washington Redskins) @ Dallas
Nude playbook photos and all, Cooley has two straight games in which he has had 72 receiving yards. With the offense starting to get their big tight end more involved, we feel Cooley is going to be a constant at 6+ fantasy points a week. He has five career touchdowns against the Cowboys and we like his chances of finding paydirt for the first time in 2008.
Point Projection: 12 points
--------------------
5. Tony Gonzalez (Kansas City Chiefs) vs. Denver
Earlier this week, Touchdown Tony was loud and frank when he said the he wouldn't mind being traded away from the 0-3 Chiefs. He loves the franchise, but realizes that this team isn't going anywhere and that his statistics will be limited by bad quarterback play. Still, his Week 4 opponent, the Denver Broncos, have been terrible against the tight end and with Damon Huard back under center, Gonzo is due for a solid game.
Point Projection: 10 points
--------------------
6. Tony Scheffler (Denver Broncos) @ Kansas City
After rising a high in Week 2, Scheffler wasn't at his best last week. He had four receptons for 32 yards and lost a fumble, but that shouldn't phase his owners as this offense is riding a high and Scheffler is one of the main parts of the passing attack.
Point Projection: 7 points
--------------------
7. Owen Daniels (Houston Texans) @ Jacksonville
If the Houston Texans are going to be competitive this year, they need to get both Andre Johnson and Owen Daniels the football. Last week, they did a better job of finding Daniels, who went for 71 receiving yards and was targeted six times by quarterback Matt Schaub. What's intriguing is that Daniels was targeted in the end zone, and he scored a touchdown against the Jaguars last season.
Point Projection: 6 points
--------------------
8. Heath Miller (Pittsburgh Steelers) vs. Baltimore
Finally, there is a Heath Miller sighting! After just 59 receiving yards in Week's 1 & 2, Miller had 63 receiving yards in Week 3, but we must point out that the majority of those yards came with Byron Leftwich at the quarterback position.- Facing a Ravens secondary which is allowing just 91.5 passing yards per game will be a challenging task for the Steelers passing game, but Miller does have four career TD's in six games against Baltimore.
Point Projection: 6 points
