Macin Gortat, C Suns
Not really a secret since he has been averaging 18 points, 10 rebounds and 1.3 blocks in the last three games. Yet, he is only owned in about 53 percent of Yahoo! leagues. It is clear that the Polish Hammer will be the go-to center for the rest of the season for the Suns.
I am positive that Gortat will replace Robin Lopez as the starting center eventually before the end of the season. Do yourself a favor and drop your worst player on your team for Gortat if he is still available.
Amir Johnson, PF Raptors
Last three games average: 19 points, 11.3 rebounds, two steals, 1.3 blocks, owned in 64 percent of Yahoo! leagues
Amir is a late bloomer this season. We all knew he had the potential, but his earlier inconsistent play turned away a lot of people. He has finally found his groove and I don’t think the return of Reggie Evans later this month will affect his playing time too much. Amir is in the Raptors future plans, while Evans is not.
Danilo Gallinari, SF Knicks
Last three games average: 24.7 points, eight rebounds, two three-pointers
With the inevitable trade of Carmelo to the Knicks, I think it is a good time to sell high on Danilo. His stats will drop across the boards playing along Melo. Let’s hope he gets traded to Denver.
Andre Iguodala, SG/SF 76ers
Last three games average: 19.3 points, 8.7 assists
His 16-assist game was very impressive against the Knicks. AI is too good of a player to be averaging 14.5 points for the season. He is a good buy-low candidate.
Anthony Morrow, SG Nets
Last three games average: 16.7 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2.3 assist, three three-pointers
He’s back in the starting lineup and seems to be shooting better than he did earlier in the season. Owned in 64 percent of Yahoo! leagues, but can put up similar stats to Ray Allen.
Ben Gordon, SG Pistons
Last four games average: 19.5 points, 2.8 three-pointers
With the injury to Stuckey, Gordon had been starting and putting up good numbers.
Ersan Ilyasova SF/PF Bucks
Last four games average: 14.8 points, 9.3 rebounds, 1.8 steals
He took 20 shots in two of his last three games, which is very encouraging especially since he’s been shooting 53 percent from the field in the last two weeks.
Christian Eyenga, G/F Cavaliers
Last five games average: 10.2 points, 1.8 steals, 1.8 blocks
You can ignore his points, rebounds and assists, because all we care about is his steals and blocks. Owned in only three percent in leagues, he’s a true sleeper.
