National Signing Day 2011: Auburn Ready to Restock With Stellar Class

Max HollanderJan 31, 2011

After a national championship season for the Auburn Tigers, the coaches seem to be putting together a recruiting class for the ages.

The school already has 23 top high school players committed from almost every position and all over the country. If people thought Auburn was one and done with the departure of Cam Newton and Nick Fairley, they should watch what they say after these recruits step on campus.

Reese Dismukes, OL, Spanish Fort, AL

1 of 24

Committing last April, Dismukes is a 4-star recruit who will look to add on some pounds to his 6'4" 288 pound frame before seeing time on the offensive line.

Thomas O' Reilly, OL, Marietta, GA

2 of 24

At 6'3" 313 pounds, O'Reilly is a big boy who also chose Auburn back in April of 2010. He the 43rd-best lineman and a 3-star recruit who will add quickness with a 5.2 shuttle.

Christian Westerman, OL, Chandler, AZ

3 of 24

The sixth overall prospect in the nation and number two offensive lineman, Westerman is a strong run blocker who likes to push defensive lineman into the secondary. At only 290 pounds, he has quickness off the snap and can handle speedy outside rushers.

Quan Bray, ATH, LaGrange, GA

4 of 24

Bray is 4-star recruit with blazing fast speed. He played quarterback in high school and will look to be a threat at wide receiver, running back, and potentially returning kicks. Bray has all the tools necessary to shine at the next level.

Kiehl Frazier, QB, Springdale, AR

5 of 24

Four-star recruit Kiehl Frazier is an ideal fit for Auburn. He plays like Cam Newton, coming from a spread offense in high school. He has a quarterback body at 6'3" 215 pounds and when he adds a little bulk he will be a large threat for defenses. He needs some fine tuning but has time and a strong coaching staff at Auburn.

Brandon Fulse, TE, Fort Meade, FL

6 of 24

Not only a solid receiving tight end but a strong blocking tight end is what Fulse is and will be better with fine tuning at Auburn. At 6'4" 250 pounds, he can handle defensive lineman and then shed them for a route as a checkdown for his quarterback.

Marcus Roberson, S, Lauderdale Lakes, FL

7 of 24

The number nine safety in the country had a lot of top schools to choose from but chose Auburn. At 6'0" he has the ability to come up and make tackles or he can stay deep and cover receivers.

Brent Calloway, ATH, Russellville, AL

8 of 24

At 6'2" 215 pounds, he most likely will play linebacker, but has the speed and athleticism to play running back or even wide receiver. It will be interesting to see where the Auburn coaches line him up.

Gregory Robinson, OG, Thibodaux, LA

9 of 24

At 6'5" 300 pounds, Robinson possesses excellent size to be a successful collegiate offensive lineman. Scouts like his upper body strength and ability to run block using his quickness in getting to the second level.

Robenson Therezie, S, Miami, FL

10 of 24

Therezie is known for being a big hitter at the safety position so look for coaches at Auburn to teach him how to play the run and pass, not only the run. He lacks ideal size, but makes up for it in performance.

Kris Frost, ATH, Matthews, NC

11 of 24

A guy at 6'2" 210 pounds that has played linebacker, safety, and wide receiver. For college though, Frost will most likely play a hybrid linebacker-safety; closer to the ball than an average safety and be expected to cover slot receivers and running backs out of the backfield.

Angelo Blackson, DT, Bear, DE

12 of 24

Blackson has the perfect body for the position at 6'5" 275 pounds, giving him the ability to see over offensive lines and find the ball. On top of that, he has room to put on some pounds to make him a harder guy to move by offensive linemen.

Jonathan Rose, CB, Leeds, AL

13 of 24

Rose has a large frame which will make him a tough cornerback for receivers to deal with. He has the potential to be a bit larger which will allow him to move to safety if need be. Solid strength and speed make him a solid prospect.

Jabrian Niles, DE, Mobile, AL

14 of 24

Although he appears a little smaller than the dimensions listed on film, he shows he is a productive lineman that has a nose for the ball. With some more weight, he can look to be a force on the defensive line later in his career at Auburn.

Tre Mason, RB, Lake Worth, FL

15 of 24

Mason can burst through the hole with his electrifying speed and strong feet. He makes fluid cuts and stops on a dime. He has enormous potential and can be a top college running back if things go his way—which they should.

C.J. Uzomah, ATH, Suwanee, GA

16 of 24

With tremendous size for a quarterback at 6'5" 220 pounds, he could find himself as a tight end at the next level unless Auburn gives him a chance and he is able to shine. Regardless, he is an athlete that could be used in numerous ways.

Anthony Swain, S, Gadsden, AL

17 of 24

At 6'2" 210 pounds, Swain has ideal size to be a top safety in college. He could add some size and potentially move down into the box and play linebacker if it suits him better.

Keymiya Harrell, DE, Plantersville, AL

18 of 24

A 3-star defensive end recruit that has the right height for the position but will need to add a bunch of weight to be a star at the position. After a season or two of working hard, he could find himself in the starting lineup.

Shon Coleman, OT, Olive Branch, MS

19 of 24

Coleman has a huge upside for the next level with his tremendous size and athletic ability. Auburn coaches like his strength and ability to work hard.

Devaunte Sigler, DE, Mobile, AL

20 of 24

Singler is a strong, physical defensive end who will play in a three-point stance and work hard for playing time. He looks good on film and hopefully will perform the same way at Auburn in years to come.

Sammie Coates, WR, Leroy, AL

21 of 24

With his height he can be a strong force in the red zone and provide a tall target for Auburn quarterbacks. In addition, he has potential to add some strength to make him a better target.

Jaylon Denson, WR, Hoover, AL

22 of 24

Denson played at historic Hoover High School and will carry his spotlight talent to Auburn where he can improve his skills to make him a talented threat.

Justin Garrett, OLB, Tucker, GA

23 of 24

Garrett has impressive speed and size for the outside linebacker position and if he adds a little bulk could be a run-stopping force.

Chris Landrum, OLB, Sweet Water, AL

24 of 24

In high school, Landrum played linebacker, running back, and even returned punts. He has tremendous athletic ability from playing both sides of the ball and will bring that talent to Auburn.
