Arsenal's Samir Nasri Doubtful for Champions League Clash Against Barcelona
Arsenal midfielder Samir Nasri suffered a hamstring injury in the Gunners' FA Cup tie with Huddersfield today. The French international drew up in the first half of the match and had to be replaced by Thomas Rosicky.
Speaking to FIFA.com, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger had a gloomy outlook.
"It looks a serious hamstring injury and that's usually three weeks," said Wenger. "We have to see whether it's a grade one or a grade two tear."

Serious hamstring injuries can take up to three weeks to heal, which potentially puts Nasri's recovery on the wrong side of Arsenal's Champions League clash against Barcelona on February 16.
"It's a big blow for us at the moment, " said Wenger. "It's two weeks to that (Barcelona) game and you will soon know if he's out. But he is doubtful."
Wenger expressed regret at choosing to play Nasri against Huddersfield at all. Despite going down to 10 men, Arsenal emerged the 2-1 victors against the Terriers. The Gunners took the lead on an own goal gifted by Peter Clarke and, despite giving up a goal in the 66th minute, came back to score the winner courtesy of a Cesc Fabregas penalty kick.
"I have regrets at playing him," said Wenger. "I took a gamble and it backfired. At this important stage of the season to lose bodies is disappointing for us. We only have 48 hours until we play next, which doesn't help us though."
The Gunners have endured a five year trophy drought, and for the last two seasons, injuries to key players like Cesc Fabregas and Robin van Persie have undermined their campaigns.
With Arsenal still in contention for four trophies this season, the loss of Nasri for three weeks would undoubtedly be a blow. The midfielder has been in the best form of his career this term and has notched up nine goals and one assist in 20 appearances.
