Devon Alexander vs. Timothy Bradley: Anderson will KO Bradley Within Nine Rounds
WBC welterweight titlist Devon Alexander is scheduled to fight WBO world welterweight king “Desert Storm” Timothy Bradley tonight at the Silverdome in Pontiac, Michigan.
Alexander (21-0, 13 KOs), a southpaw from the gang and drug-infested Hyde Park neighborhood of north St. Louis, last fought in July when he defeated Andreas Kotelnik (31-4-1, 13 KOs) by a unanimous decision.
Similarly, Bradley (26-0-0-1, 11 KOs), who Ring Magazine currently rates as the number nine pound-for-pound fighter in the world, unanimously beat Argentinian Luis Abregu (29-1, 23 KOs) on the scorecards this past summer.
Bradley is a worthy adversary and he should give Alexander a decent battle this weekend.
However, Alexander is a truly special talent and he will knock Bradley onto Queer Street within nine rounds.
"Alexander has that svelte, muscular physique that is ideal for boxers," said Mike Cardello, 29, an enormous boxing follower from Quincy (Mass.). "Plus, it doesn't exactly hurt that he's a lefty."
At the age of 23, barring any unforeseen events, Alexander will become the best pound-for-pound boxer in the world within the next five years.
The native of “The Gateway City” has all the necessary tools and abilities to thoroughly dominate any pugilist in the squared circle.
“Alexander the Great” can batter any prizefighter and he will imminently trigger a long and supreme reign in multiple divisions.
The boxing world will realize Alexander’s greatness when he emerges as boxing’s newest superstar in approximately four hours.
