Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
One thing that I have to get off of my chest, though, is that you need to remember to always play your stud players this early in the season, unless they are injured and out of the game, regardless to where they are ranked in our rankings! You drafted those players for a reason.
Now on to the Bruno Boys Fantasy Football Week Three Running Back Rankings.
------------------------
1. Frank Gore (San Francisco) vs. Detroit
The Detroit Lions have shown in the first two weeks that they can’t stop the pass or the run. So what happens when they face their ex-offensive coordinator Mike Martz, who knows the Lions' defense by heart and has one of the best run/receiving RB’ in his arsenal with Frank Gore?
Disaster for the Lions' D! Expect huge things from Gore in Week Three, making him a must start in all leagues!
Point Projection: 24 points
------------------------
2. Marshawn Lynch (Buffalo Bills) vs. Oakland Raiders
The Buffalo Bills' offensive success relies heavily on their running game, and this week, they take on one of the weakest rushing defenses in the game with the Oakland Raiders. Lynch should be the go-to guy all week long, providing for an elite Week Three performance! He is a must start in all leagues, and we have no doubt about it that he makes it three straight weeks with a TD to open up 2008.
Point Projection: 22 points
--------------------
3. Brian Westbrook (Philadelphia Eagles) vs. Pittsburgh Steelers
This is not one of the better matchups that Brian Westbrook will have this year, but the Philadelphia Eagles will be relying heavily on this RB yardage machine both through the air and on the ground! Look for plenty of dump passes to combat a very well-rounded Pittsburgh Steelers defense, which should lead to plenty of yardage, although a very tough time to getting in for a TD.
Westbrook remains a must start in all weeks that he suits up and is in his lineup.
Point Projection: 22 points
------------------------
4. Adrian Peterson (Minnesota Vikings) vs. Carolina
Adrian Peterson takes on a Carolina Panthers rush defense that ranks about the middle-of-the-pack in the NFL. Considering that the Minnesota Vikings defense is one of the better ones in the game, the Panthers will have a hard time to stay on the field offensively! That should lead to plenty of opportunities for Peterson in Week Three, making him a very good RB1 play.
Point Projection: 19 points
------------------------
5. Michael Turner (Atlanta Falcons) vs. Kansas City Chiefs
This game should involve a huge running attack against the Kansas City Chiefs who are horrible against the run (426 rushing yards allowed in two games), but very good against the pass.
Look for a solid effort and a very good handful of fantasy-football points from Michael Turner in Week Three, resulting in a top RB play. Watch for his ankle injury though. If it will affect his status on Sunday, adjust accordingly.
Point Projection: 20 points
------------------------
6. LaDanian Tomlinson (San Diego Chargers) vs. New York Jets
Hurt toe and all, Tomlinson is by far the elite of the elite when it comes to NFL RBs, and that translates into superiority in the fantasy football world! This week, they take on a New York Jets rush defense that has been solid to date, but we have a feeling they will struggle mightily in Week Three.
Do not let a substandard Week Two (10 carries) persuade you to play anyone ahead of L.T.2 himself! As we learn more about the turf-toe injury, we will keep you posted, but for now, Tomlinson is a must start..
Point Projection: 19 points
--------------------
7. Brandon Jacobs (New York Giants) vs. Cincinnati Bengals
Brandon Jacobs is a goal-line machine, and the Cincinnati Bengals are just not a very formidable group against the run! We have no doubt in our mind that he finds paydirt for the first time this season against a rush defense that has already surrendered three rushing touchdowns.
Look for Jacobs to be very successful in Week Three against a team that ranks 30th against the rush in 2008 and has already 406 rushing yards in just two games. He is a definite RB1 play!
Point Projection: 19 points
------------------------
8. Marion Barber (Dallas Cowboys) @ Green Bay Packers
The Green Bay Packers' pass defense has allowed a lot of points this year, and with the likelihood that the Dallas Cowboys will try to exploit that weakness, that should open up the running game for the Cowboys, which should give Barber some excellent runs and possibly a visit to the paydirt in Week Three, making him a fine RB1 play.
Point Projection: 18 points
