5 Moves That Need To Be Made: Phoenix Suns Edition
The Phoenix Suns have always been known as on of the best teams in the NBA because of Amare Stoudemire. Now that Amare is gone, I guess you could say the Suns are in a rebuilding stage. They have young and underrated talent and I believe they should make some more moves to make the team better for the future.
1. Give Goran Dragic More Minutes

I can see Goran Dragic being a good asset in this team's line-up and being a good replacement for Steve Nash. Dragic has a nice jumper, good driving ability, he can pass well, and he has great nights off the bench. Dragic is one of my favorite Sun's players.
2. Get Rid Of Older Players With The Exception Of Steve Nash

This is mostly a gut feeling, but I don't think Carter is going to have an excellent time in Phoenix. I just don't see him fitting in with the Sun's way of playing. Carter isn't a shooter, and that's what the Sun's need at Shooting guard and Small forward. I think they have the small forward position filled with Dudley soon to take Hill's spot, but I think trading Carter for a shooter would benefit a lot. I could possibly see Carter and Josh Childress to the Kings for possibly Jason Thompson and Omri Casspi. Gets them a desperately needed PF and a solid shooter.
3. Get a Power Forward

Hakim Warrick isn't a bad player and I think he can be very good with this team. I just think that they deserve to have a better one in the starting line-up. I can see a couple possibilities. They could get Jason Thompson like I mentioned earlier or they could even try and buy Anthony Randolph cheap from the Knicks. Carl Landry is a possibility and you could even throw Antawn Jamison in the mix. There are a lot of options here.
4. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT TRADE STEVE NASH

Steve Nash has been one of the best point guards to ever play the game of basketball. If the Suns trade Nash, they will lose a lot of leadership in the locker room. If you look at the way Goran Dragic plays, he looks a lot like Steve Nash. I believe that Nash has this impact on players around him, and it's going to hurt the other players on the team if he leaves. Plus, he's not getting worse at all.
