NFL Week 11 Fantasy QB Rankings: The Most in-Depth Analysis in the Industry
Week 11 QB Player Rankings
1. Drew Brees (vs Sea)
Cool Brees is infinitely better at home than he is on the road, so against the league’s fifth-worst pass D, one can only assume he’ll be going off on Sunday. If the Saints want to win their division, they’ll have to go-go-go right now and take no prisoners.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
With pretty much every single RB they have on their roster hurt in one form or another, I can’t see fewer than three TD passes and 300-plus yards through the air this week.
2. Peyton Manning (@ NE)
Manning has been a bit of a disappointment since his hot start to the season. Injuries are taking their toll on the offense for sure, but with Joseph Addai and either Austin Collie or Blair White due back this week, I expect the numbers to come back up.
Besides all the mumbo-jumbo, Peyton takes this long-standing rivalry against Tom Brady very seriously. In the past five years, Manning has averaged 290.6 yards and 2.4 TDs per game against the Patriots while leading the Colts to a 4-1 record against them. You can bet your ass he’ll be showing up this Sunday.
3. Michael Vick (vs NYG)
Like I said last week, it’s like watching Gale Sayers with a cannon instead of an arm. The Giants may have the most intimidating defense in the league right now, but Vick presents a completely different angle for defensive coordinators to deal with, so don’t expect New York to look the same as they normally do.
My goodness, if Jon Kitna can tear them apart for 327 yards and three TDs, what in the world will Vick do to them?!?!
4. Aaron Rodgers (@ Min)
Rodgers and the rest of the squad had a nice late-season bye week to rest their bones, so they should be fired up and ready to take the field. Over the past two seasons, Rodgers has averaged 322 yards and 2.3 TDs against the Vikings while in the last game in Minnesota, he tossed up 384 yards and 2 TDs in a shootout loss to his mentor, Brett Favre. You think he doesn’t want to stick it to him in (likely) his last game against the ageless legend?
5. Philip Rivers (vs Den)
Just because the guy was on a bye last week doesn’t mean you should forget what he’s done so far this year. He’s just 41 yards shy of the most passing yards in NFL history through nine games of the season (2,944, Drew Brees had 2,985) and is tied for the most TD passes to boot (w/ Eli Manning, 19).
His injured receivers should be making their way back this game, but it doesn’t really matter with this kid. Against a Denver D that has given up 16 passing TDs already, bet on Rivers to shine.
6. Ben Roethlisberger (vs Oak)
Roethlisberger has always had his good days and his bad. Pittsburgh needs a win to stay atop the AFC North this weekend (especially with 6-3 Baltimore playing Carolina) so I expect nothing less than the Steelers to come out firing in this one to put it away early.
With Nnamdi Asomugha still banged up, what’s to stop Big Ben from having his way with this pass D? Nothing at all, unless they’re up by 35 points at the half… which they won’t be. Oakland beat them last year, and the Steelers will remember.
7. Tom Brady (vs Ind)
Brady and Manning have a rivalry like none other in the NFL. Who’s the better leader? Who’s the better QB? Who’s the bigger winner? The fact is, when it comes to games between Brady and Manning, everything besides these warriors two goes out the door. Yes, Belichick is far and away a better coach than Manning ever had. Yes, the wide receivers Manning has had are far and away better than Brady ever had.
When it comes to a mano-y-mano situation, none of that matters. In his last five starts against Manning, Brady has thrown for three TDs in four of those games with an average of 286.2 yards throughout. Yeah, the Colts can be run on this year, but that won’t matter… Brady will get his in the end.
Fun Fact of the Week: In their careers, Tom Brady and Peyton Manning have played in the same amount of playoff games (18) and thrown for the same amount of TDs (28), yet Brady has a 14-4 record while Manning's is just 9-9.
8. Eli Manning (@ Phi)
Against the Eagles last year, Eli averaged 306.5 yards and two TDs. However, in Philadelphia, he only put up 222 yards and one TD. Though he seems to be getting the hang of this quarterback thing, the loss of dependable Steve Smith will eventually take its toll and this could be the game it happens.
However, I can easily see the Eagles going up early and the Giants having to pass, so like McNabb did last weekend, Manning should be able to accrue some pretty good numbers in garbage time.
9. Jon Kitna (vs Det)
Dallas is going to win this game, and win it big. Detroit has a great nucleus in the making, but they won’t be able to keep up with the talent that the Cowboys possess on offense. New Head Coach Jason Garrett is a big-time passer so I expect Kitna to be tossing around the pigskin quite a bunch this weekend.
Plain and simple, the Lions have no answer for the likes of Dez Bryant and Austin Miles, so 2-3 TDs and 250-plus yards seem pretty reasonable this weekend.
10. Mark Sanchez (vs Hou)
Sanchez has a great receiving corps to work with and an amazing matchup in which to use it. Going up against the worst pass D in the NFL is a sight any fantasy owner loves to see, and Sanchez won’t disappoint.
Santonio Holmes seems to be gathering his stride while Braylon Edwards (though still a little bitch/baby) is showing signs of his breakout year in 2007. NO quarterback play is bad against this Texans defense, so think about giving Dirty Sanchez a sniff.
11. Carson Palmer (vs Buf)
Palmer should have sent out a good 20-30 resumes by now to companies dealing in his college major. Lucky for him, there’s simply nobody on the Bengals roster who can replace him at this moment. Yes, he’ll keep his job for the remainder of the year, but it’s not because he’s good… it’s because his receivers are good.
Whatever the case, the numbers will keep coming, especially against a team that has given up 18 TDs yet have just two INTs the entire year.
12. Kyle Orton (@ SD)
I would normally tell you to sit any quarterback going up against this formidable San Diego defense, but I can’t do that with Captain Neckbeard. The guy is simply on a roll that can’t be stopped with the thickest tar in the world.
If the Chargers allowed opposing teams to run on them, I might think differently, but they don’t. Orton will have to pass the ball for the Broncos to keep close, and 50-plus attempts wouldn’t shock me in this game. If that happens, he’ll go over 300 yards and likely have 1-2 TDs to boot.
13. Shaun Hill (@Dal)
By no means is Shaun Hill an upper-half quarterback in this league, but on Detroit, he has to be. Dallas has been giving up the world to QBs and WRs over the past four or so games, so with Megatron, Nate Burleson, Brandon Pettigrew and Jahvid Best all out there to be targeted, you have to expect at least a high-end QB2 type fantasy game out of him this Sunday.
14. Matt Ryan (@ StL)
The real reason Matt Ryan is up here this week? Roddy White. Period. Tony Gonzalez surely helps out a big, but normally Ryan isn’t as good on the road and the Rams happen to be pretty darn good on D this year, so if Ryan didn’t have Roddy and Gonzo to throw to, I’d probably tell you to sit him and play Matt Cassel instead...
15. Joe Flacco (@ Car)
Joe Cool has averaged 254 yards and 2.5 TDs in his last four games, so it seems he’s figured a little something out under center. Against a middling defense like Carolina, those numbers look to be right on target with what he can do this Sunday.
16. Brett Favre (vs GB)
Does Favre have one last miracle in him? I’m guessing yes. The final career game against his old Packers team will turn out to be special, you’ll see, and if you’re one of the few in the fantasy nation who still have faith enough in the old-timer to play him, believe me, you’ll be rewarded this weekend.
Just a little reminder: Last year in Minnesota against Green Bay, Favre threw for 271 yards, three TDs, and zero INTs. Have a little faith people!
