Manny Pacquiao: Could He Retire After Crushing Antonio Margarito?

Manny Pacquiao raises his hands in victory after dominating Antonio Margarito every minute of their 12 round battle. The hand speed was too much for Margarito as bit by bit Manny hit Antonio with precise power shots from all angles.

It was a masterful show with Manny in perpetual motion dominating the taller and bigger fighter for his unprecedented eight different division world title.

Manny is a great boxer but he plans to be the greatest. Everybody can argue and debate on who is the greatest boxer of all time but no one can question the feat Manny accomplished. “Pacquiao” the word in our dialect means “to have more” and Manny is just simply living up to his name.

Henry Haskins said that the greatest masterpieces were once only a pigment on a palette. From a lanky fighter who put stones in his pocket just to get to the 105 pound limit all the way to the super welterweight division. Manny had added pigments after pigments and Margarito might be his last.

After Manny’s crushing victory the question would be who he fights next? But there is no other fighter than Floyd Mayweather Jr. the great defense against the powerful offense, the alpha males fighting for supremacy.

But when it takes two to tango, the other one wants to sit down. Floyd never wanted to fight Manny, not now, not in the near future or not even in his lifetime. Everyone wants to see that fight and Manny wants that fight more than ever. That is the only logical fight that could bring him back in lacing his gloves and anyone out there fall short of making it a challenge.

The electricity, the crowd and all the wonderful production throughout the fight, there is no more of a satisfying conclusion than this.
