Brock Lesnar: If His UFC Career Fails, What Will He Do?

James EvensOct 20, 2010

Brock Lesnar is known by most as the former wrestler turned mixed martial artist.

Recently there has been a lot of hype around Lesnar due to his upcoming fight against Cain Velasquez. This made me wonder, what other options could Lesnar pursue if his career in UFC failed?

Here are a few options.

Although after his time with the WWE he pursued football as a career path and was cut by the Minnesota Vikings, it's still an option if somehow his mixed martial arts career fails.

I would say the NFL is out of the question, mainly because after the recent helmet-to-helmet hits the game is turning into a pansy league and will eventually become soccer.

Although the NFL is going to ban physical contact from the game, the UFL, Arena League and Canada are still options.

Bodyguard

Another option for Lesnar is being a bodyguard. Maybe he could protect someone really small, like Lil Wayne, and they could make a reality show about it just because of the sheer size difference in the two men.

If Lesnar ever wanted to pursue this career route, there a lot of wimpy guys that need protection out there.

Wrestling

I know that Brock Lesnar has already gone down this career path once, but once you're successful in the wrestling business and back out, you are almost always welcome back in.

After all, Lesnar draws a lot of attention. If you were 6'3 and weighed 260 pounds of muscle, you would more than likely draw attention too. He would be welcomed back to the wrestling scene with open arms—just watch.

He will need a new nickname, however, because he already is a big thing.

Action Movie Star

Hollywood is always looking for that next big, in the physical sense, guy to start in their next action movie, which usually involves no plot. Lesnar would be the perfect fit to play this guy.

I can see it already—Brock Lesnar co-starring with Bruce Willis in Die Hard: Here Comes the Pain.

Everyone talks about how athletic Lesnar is for a big man and how good he is on his feet  A thought ran through my head: He could be a figure skater.

How entertaining would it be to see Brock Lesnar out on the ice, gliding around like a bird? Okay, more of a pterodactyl.

Well Brock, if the UFC doesn't work out for you, it seem like you are pretty set for the long haul. I hope you consider some of these options, especially this one, if you decide to leave mixed martial arts.
