Colts Release Kenny Moore

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Joe Flacco, Baltimore Ravens: I was hard on him the first two weeks based on his match-ups against the Jets and Bengals. This week, life is easier as he gets a chance to rebound against Cleveland. He has a 95.9 career passer rating against the Browns.
Sit:
Jay Cutler, Chicago Bears: Cutler struggled against Green Bay last year with a 55.7 passer rating. He had three TDs and six INTs. I’d still likely start him if you don’t have a suitable backup, but if you have a quality QB2, this may be a week to make the switch.
Running Backs
Start:
Knowshon Moreno, Denver Broncos: The Giants were inept on offense against the Colts, but Bradshaw still managed to run for 89 yards at a 5.2 ypc clip.
Don’t expect Moreno to do a Arian Foster impersonation, but he could put up Bradshaw numbers. He has a decent chance of scoring in his third straight game, plus he’s active in the passing game.
Fred Taylor, New England Patriots: It’s hard to rely on a Patriots RB, but Taylor has a nice match-up against Buffalo, who are tied with a league-high three rushing TDs allowed.
The Bills will look to shut down the passing game, which will make them susceptible to the run.
Sit:
Cadillac Williams, Tampa Bay Buccaneers: After the number they did on Michael Turner and Chris Johnson in their first two games, you simply have to leave your Caddy in the garage. The Steelers have allowed just 102 yards on the ground at 2.2 ypc.
Brandon Jackson, Green Bay Packers: I was all for using Jackson last week, but I’m for sitting him this week as they face the Bears’ #1 run defense. They are giving up just 1.4 ypc and have allowed a mere 56 yards on the ground this year.
Wide Receivers
Start:
Santana Moss, Washington Redskins: St. Louis has given up nearly 250 passing yard per game, despite facing the inept Cardinals and Raiders. This week, they take on the Redskins, who have averaged 282 ypg. Moss has 16 catches in two games, and should be busy on Sunday.
Dez Bryant, Dallas Cowboys: The Houston Texans have allowed 822 yards in two games. It’s not just the stud WRs making the plays. Austin Collie went for 163 in the opener. Joey Galloway had 88 in the second game.
Sit:
Mario Manningham, New York Giants: Manningham is off to a hot start with 160 yards and a score in the Giants' first two games. He faces the Titans, who have allowed just 179 yards and 1 TD through the air in their first two games.
Chicago Bears WRs: I’m not saying that the Packers shut down Devin Hester, Devin Aromashodu, and Johnny Knox. It’s just going to be difficult to pinpoint which WR will perform the best. Plus, they are facing the Packers, who have allowed 233 passing yards in two games.
Tight Ends
Start:
Chris Cooley, Washington Redskins: Cooley has been active in the passing game as well. He should exploit the Rams’ pass defense.
Sit:
Heath Miller, Pittsburgh Steelers: Pittsburgh QBs are dropping like flies. Miller will be asked to stay in and pass protect.
Kicker
Start:
Lawrence Tynes, New York Giants: The Titans have allowed six FGs in two games. They are tough against the pass, which is the Giants’ strength. I could see multiple FG opportunities.
Sit:
Dan Carpenter, Miami Dolphins: Carpener has just two FGs and three PATs in two games. The Jets have allowed just one FG and three PATs in two games. Plus, Carpenter had just two FGs in their two meetings last year.
Defenses
Start:
New England Patriots: The Bills have struggled to move the football. Playing the Patriots in New England won’t help matters.
Sit:
Atlanta Falcons: Atlanta has five sacks and four INTs in two games while giving up just 22 points. You can throw their hot start out the window, though as they take on the Saints.
