NFL Rumors: Trading for Vincent Jackson a Win/Lose for Washington Redskins
Twitter is a buzz with the asking price for Vincent Jackson.
As of right now that price would be a second and third-round pick in the 2011 draft.
In my honest opinion that is a bit high for a player that is suspended, and doesn't want to be in San Diego.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Peter King of Sports Illustrated fame tweeted that a second-rounder in 2011 and a conditional pick in 2012 barring Jackson stays out of trouble makes more sense.
I sort of agree with King.
Right now it doesn't look like anything is going to get done between Jackson and the Chargers, so why such a high asking price?
In spite of the high price, a lot of fans and sports talk DJs in Washington D.C. want general manager Bruce Allen to pull the trigger.
Coincidentally these are the same type of people who constantly get on the franchise for trading away picks or signing guys who have bad attitudes or who get into trouble.
I've seen plenty of interviews with Jackson on pregame shows this season and he has seemed genuine, saying all of his past problems are behind him. But so does the devil when he wants your soul.
I for one would love a receiver the caliber of Vincent Jackson to drive up to Redskin Park this evening, but at what cost?
The team already traded away a second-rounder in the 2010 draft (plus a conditional in 2011) for Donovan McNabb. Does the team want to do that again for another player?
Jackson is only 27 and this is his fifth season in the league. Is that worth what the Chargers are asking for him?
If it weren't for McNabb throwing for over 400 yards this past Sunday to the likes of Santana Moss, Joey Galloway, and Chris Cooley I might be on board, but it's looking like the passing game will be just fine.
What troubles the offense seems to have are in the running game.
It's hard to say if it's the backs or the line, but a second and a third-round pick next season could address both concerns.
Besides, if Jackson holds out for the entire season he could be a free agent next year and then we wouldn't have to give up anything (besides money) to get him.
I think the addition of Jackson this season would help the team out, but for such a high asking price, a team has got to be one elite receiver away from the Super Bowl.
Sadly, the Redskins are not that team.
The only trade that would be a win for the 'Skins would be to unload Albert Haynesworth with a third-round pick to the Chargers, and let's face it, that ain't going to happen.
