Kris Jenkins Tears ACL, Done for Season
For the second time in the past two seasons, Jets defensive tackle Kris Jenkins has torn his ACL, once again ending his season. Jenkins was said to be excited about his return but now is considering retirement.

Laurence Mauroney Traded to Broncos
The Patriots finally decided to pull the plug on their former first round pick. Mauroney and a 2011 sixth round pick were traded for the Broncos for a 2011 fourth round pick. He is expected to fill LenDale White's role, who is out for the year with an injury.

Ryan Grant Done for Season
The Packers running back sustained an ankle injury against the Eagles and is expected to miss the season. Green Bay did pick up Dmitri Nance off Atlanta's practice squad. Nance looked very impressive in the preseason, but was behind the Falcons' stable of backs.

Jared Odrick To Miss Time
Due to a fractured fibula (ouch!), the Dolphins first round pick is expected to miss up to six weeks. The 'Phins are optimistic that Odrick could return sooner than expected.

Bob Sanders Hurt Again
"Two days after sustaining an injury in a 34-24 loss at Houston, the Colts announced Sanders would meet with Dr. James Andrews to get a second opinion. Until now, the Colts have said nothing about the severity of the injury and even those seemingly in the know are uncertain about the prognosis."
