Javier Hernandez (Manchester United)
1 of 11
Javier Hernandez, also known as Chicharito, was a very shrewd signing by Sir Alex Ferguson, who bought him at a bargain price before the World Championship. He is a young and exciting prospect, who is already a fan favourite at Old Trafford, who have compared him to the legendary Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
He scored for Manchester United in the Community Shield match against Chelsea and also impressed greatly in the World Cup for Mexico, scoring goals against France and Argentina.
He can play as a target man or in a partnership with Wayne Rooney or Dimitar Berbatov. However, Berbatov's very good form early in the season, has resulted in lesser playing time for Chicharito. Nevertheless, the lad has class written all over him and can prove to be an asset over the course of the season.
Jack Rodwell (Everton)
2 of 11
The young England Under 21 International shot to fame last year after some impressive performances, including a marvellous cameo against Manchester United at Goodison Park, where he delightfully finished to secure the points for Everton in a thrilling encounter.
Rodwell has made huge strides in the last year and will look to continue his development at Everton. He is a versatile player, who can play both in midfield and, if needed, in defense. He has been touted to have a big future and has shown the talent necessary to be a great player.
He was the subject of transfer speculation in the summer, but signed a new contract to stay with the Merseyside Club, thus relieving a lot of Everton fans, who have already had enough with the Wayne Rooney saga.
Jack WIlshere (Arsenal)
3 of 11
Jack Wilshere has already been touted to be the future of England, and at the tender age of 18 he already has a senior England cap to his name. He was loaned out to Bolton last year, but Wenger believes that Wilshere is ready for a bigger role at Arsenal in this season.
He is predominantly an attacking midfielder but can also play on the wings. Wenger has used him deep in midfield behind Cesc Fabregas and he believes that the youngster will learn a lot from being played in this role.
Wilshere has already made 4 appearances for the Gunners, including 3 starts, and looks like he has the faith of his team mates and the manager. He can be a revelation in this season, and Arsenal will hope that Wilshere can come to the fore this year.
Phil Jones (Blackburn)
4 of 11
Phil Jones, the Blackburn defender, received rave reviews for his impressive display against Chelsea on his debut in the last season and has come a long way since then. His impact was such that his manager Sam Allardyce declared that transfer deals regarding the youngster were non negotiatiable.
Jones has started in all the four fixtures of the club so far and is trying to establish himself as a starter in the line-up. At the age of only 18, he is already a sought-after defender and has proven that he is capable of producing good performances even against the best teams in the World.
Adam Johnson (Manchester City)
5 of 11
Adam Johnson was brought to Manchester City by Roberto Mancini from Middlesbrough during the January transfer window of the previous season. Johnson has been an outstanding player for City, and despite the club splashing out a lot of cash on many footballers, he has managed to hold his starting spot for most of the games.
The tricky winger has also been called up for England, and his future is on a steep upward curve. He has proved that he can trouble the best defenders in the world with his runs and tricks. He can also finish well, and crosses accurately into the box.
This season, he will get a number of opportunities to exhibit his superb talent and cement his place in the England team as well.
Gareth Bale (Tottenham Hotspur)
6 of 11
Gareth Bale is one of Tottenham's most potent weapons, and has gone from being unsuccessful initially with Spurs to one of the most important players for Tottenham. He scored in vital games against Arsenal and Chelsea in the last season, which helped them acquire the Champions League spot ahead of City and Liverpool.
The Welshman has established his place in Tottenham's starting eleven and provides great width from the wings. He also has the ability to conjure magic and create goals from nothing. He will be a trouble for all Right Backs, who will find his pace and skill difficult to deal with.
Bale can play as Left Back or as a Left Winger, but it is while playing as a winger that he seems to be more dangerous to the opposition. He has started the season strongly and is sure to be a contender for the Young Player of the Year award.
Andy Carroll (Newcastle United)
7 of 11
Andy Carroll has been awarded the famous no. 9 shirt previously worn by many Newcastle legends, including Alan Shearer. He has been thrust a lot of responsibility by the Newcastle manager Chris Hughton, but has shown that he can handle the pressure at the biggest stage.
Carroll was very good in the previous season, with Newcastle which saw them top the Championship and get promoted to the Premier League. he followed his good form in the Championship by scoring his first Hat-trick in the Premier League against Aston Villa en route to a 6-0 victory. Carroll is a tall and strong striker, who is very talented and has a bright future ahead of him.
Marc Albrighton (Aston Villa)
8 of 11
Marc Albrighton is another talented star to emerge from Aston Villa, and following the exit of James Milner, he has the chance to cement a spot on the wings. The young winger has shown he has great potential and has impressed in preseason and early matches for Aston Villa in this season.
He was given a start in the first game of the season against West Ham, and vindicated the manager's faith by producing a superb display, including two assists in that match. He remained on the fringes of the Aston Villa team in the last season, but this season, he has performed very well in the opportunities he has got and can expect to play in a number of games.
Rafael Da Silva (Manchester United)
9 of 11
Ryan Giggs has said that playing against the world's finest young right back has helped him retain his sharpness at the age of 36. Rafael da Silva has been impressive in the appearances he has made for Manchester United, and is surely well on his way to establishing himself as one of the best right backs in the world.
The Brazilian footballer is rated very highly by the experienced manager and could be a revelation in this season. Last season, he made a number of appearances for the club and started a number of Champions League fixtures as well, including the fateful second leg against Bayern Munich, in which he was given his marching orders.
Rafael da Silva is surely one of the most talented right backs in the Premier League and under the guidance of Sir Alex Ferguson, he can develop into one of the world's best in his position.
Theo Walcott (Arsenal)
10 of 11
The pacy Arsenal winger seems to have been in the football arena for a long time, but he is still only 20, and has put in some impressive performances in the 3 matches that he has played in this season, before getting injured playing for England.
The England International spent a large chunk of the last season on the sidelines, suffering numerous injury problems, which lead to his exclusion from the World Cup squad. However, the disappointment has only spurred him to do better in this season.
He scored four goals from the three games that he played and is still Arsenal's top scorer for the season. Arsenal will hope Walcott returns to full fitness in the near future and recaptures his pre-injury form.
