Alex Barron Holds On For Dallas Cowboys Loss: Should He Have a Job?
Alex Barron and the Dallas Cowboys had a rough outing yesterday in their season opener against the Washington Redskins.
Barron, the Cowboys' right tackle who is starting in place of Marc Colombo due to an injury, led the league with a season high of seven holds last season.
Yesterday he picked up right with the Cowboys where he left off with the Rams.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Barron was called for holding not once, not twice, but three times throughout the game. All three of his holds were costly, especially the last two.
The right tackle grabbed linebacker Brian Orakpo on the last play of the game on the Cowboy's attempted game winning drive. The play resulted in a game winning touchdown pass to Roy Williams, but because of Barron's hold the score was denied and the Cowboys proceeded to lose.
Talk about lack of discipline.
Don't be surprised to see someone else in place of Barron next week for Dallas. Understandably, the Cowboys knew what they were getting when they started Barron with his history of holding penalties.
But three in one game? One that cost the team a win?
That's inexcusable and unacceptable.
Cowboys fans, you have a right to be angry. Barron's sloppy play took a win away from the rest of a team that executed and worked hard towards victory.
It wouldn't be shocking to see Barron cut from the team, whether now or in a few weeks once Colombo is healthy or if they find a replacement.
There is no room for that much lack of discipline on a team that's competing for the Super Bowl.
