Javier Mascherano Want's Out, Where To From Here?
Argentine International, Javier Mascherano has reportedly asked to leave Liverpool following discussion between him and newly appointed coach Roy Hodgson.
For some time now, there seems to have been some unhappiness on the path of Mascherano and he feels it's time to move on.
Rumors surfaced once again during the World Cup, linking him to Barcelona and possibly to Italy where he would join former boss, Rafael Benitez.

Hodgson's appointment was not an easy one for the former Fulham manager, as he has to convince some of his main stars to stay at Anfield.
According to Hodgson he couldn't get hold of the Argentine while he was on vacation, which already gave some indication with regards to his position on the matter.
Mascherano played a major part in Liverpool's title quest and has been a regular fixture in the starting eleven.
His fiery temper might have got the better of him on occasions, but his ability and leadership has been evident both on the domestic and International scene.
Now Liverpool could loose a quality player, but who will land his services?
The most probable destination would be Inter Milan, where Benitez has taking the helm following his exit at Anfield. Inter could be the perfect move for Javier, the style of play is exactly his style and adapting would be very easy.
Been 26 years old would be ideal as Inter looks towards rebuilding a side that commands much quality and experience but with many now past thirty years old.
The other much talked about option last season was Barcelona, who let go of their defensive midfielder in Yaya Toure. But with the purchase of Adriano it seems that opportunity has passed.
Valencia could be another possibility, they have sold three players who have been instrumental in their team effort and need some sort of freshen up, but the price tag could be a problem.
So with an asking price of around £25 Million, it could be mutually beneficial for both parties. Mascherano would get his move, and Liverpool would then have some cash to spend on players.
