Breaking News: Is Eric Bischoff Leaving TNA?
We've been complaining for months about how Hulk Hogan and Eric "Easy E" Bischoff have been ruining TNA.
The end of the error seems near.
Bischoff posted this onto his Twitter and Facebook pages, "Sometimes you gotta know when to say when. Getting close."
Now Easy E could just be stirring up rumors.
After all, this is the man who wrote the book Controversy Creates Ca$h.
However, the controversies that he's conjured up in TNA have not led to more money; they've led to declining ratings and a shoddy product.
I find it hard to believe that Bischoff would leave TNA this fast seeing as he's only been around for six months or so (counting the time he spent behind the scenes before the Jan. 4 debut).
Things have not exactly gone as planned, and Bischoff deserves a good chunk of the blame.
If Bischoff leaves TNA, does that mean that Hogan will go with him?
Bischoff has been working with Hogan for a long time now. It's definitely possible that Bischoff might leave without Hogan, but that would most likely limit Hogan's backstage power. That's not such a bad thing.
TNA recently announced that Ric Flair will be joining their 2011 tour of the U.K. I don't see the Nature Boy following Hogan and Bischoff out the door should they choose to leave.
Paul Heyman has been a guy whose name has been thrown around as a candidate to join TNA. Bischoff's departure could very well lead to Paul E.'s arrival to the Impact Zone. Heyman is great friends with TNA Champion Rob Van Dam and is not on good terms with Bischoff or Vince Russo.
Heyman could do wonders with the X Division. I also don't think he could do any worse than Hogan and Bischoff have been doing lately.
If Bischoff does in fact leave, will Heyman come to TNA?
Will the new stars stick around?
Will ratings slip more?
Stay tuned...
