Arrogant Johnny Miller Throws Tiger Woods' Swing Coach Hank Haney Under the Bus
Johnny Miller has always thought so very highly of himself.
Always has, not a secret.
Arrogant? Absolutely. People don't change often. He was that as a player and still is as an NBC announcer.
Miller, who acts like he won 12 majors instead of the two he has, picked up Hank Haney, Tiger Woods' faithful swing instructor, and threw him right under the bus Wednesday, ran him over, backed it up and ran over him again.
Miller flat out flattened Hank.
"This might be a little harsh but I really believe (Woods) needs to, every night, watch the U.S. Open in the year 2000 in Pebble and just copy that swing and forget the (Hank) Haney stuff."
A little harsh? That's Johnny-boy.
If a player could make everything right by watching his swing from one event, Miller could have watched his own swing from the final round of the 1973 U.S. Open and won 10 more majors.
Isn't that easy, is it Johnny?
True karma and justice in golf came when Miller couldn't make putts any longer. He got a big-time case of the yips and it couldn't happen to a nicer guy.
So piling on Hank Haney is simply ridiculous.
Said noted author/writer John Feinstein: "Tiger's just a mess right now. Watching his swing from the 2000 Open isn't going to help him."
Neither is Johnny Miller.
Tiger's made it known in private that he dislikes Miller, not that Johnny would care.
Heck, it's fun to dislike Johnny Miller. That's because he's so dislikeable.
