Wayne Rooney Cleansweeps Manchester United's End of the Year Award Ceremony
After one of his most successful years in professional football, Wayne Rooney is being recognized for his effort and contribution.
After receiving the PFA Player of the Year and FWA Footballer of the Year awards last week, Rooney continues to be the chosen one this season.
Last night he picked up another three awards at the Manchester United End of the Year Function.

Rooney's goal at the Emirates on Jan. 31 , when he scored from a counter attack, was chosen as the winner for this season.
Rooney was also selected in the PFA Premier League Team of the Year, and he was the winner of FA Player of the Month (Premier League) for the month of January 2010.
Rooney's blinder of a season saw him win the coveted Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year Award for the second time, previously winning it in 2006. This award has only been won on three occasions by the same player once, Cristiano Ronaldo (2004, 2007, and 2008).
Rooney will look to end the season with a good performance in the last game, hoping for Chelsea to slip up when they face Wigan, which if United beat Stoke could hand them the title.
With a very small chance of Chelsea giving United a sniff at a fourth consecutive title, Rooney will look for more honours in South Africa this June when he will represent England at the World Cup.
Rooney has been picked out amongst other top names who could be key to their sides performance and ultimate victory in South Africa.
Wayne has also coughed up 26 goals in the league equal with Drogba, and his overall tally for the season is 34 in all competitions. He will look to at least go ahead of Drogba on Sunday in terms of goals and hope to land the Golden Boot award.
With United set to play Stoke and Chelsea to play Wigan, it could be a goal feast at Old Trafford and The Bridge.
Rooney's accolades are coming in fast and many hope he continues his good form after been sidelined with injury and losing some of his goal scoring pace. But all fans and football lovers hope to see him regain his touch.
