UFC 112: “Absolutely” Dana White's Lowest Moment As UFC President

Dana White is generally known for making hyperbolic statements, but he might be right on point with what transpired at “UFC 112 : Invincible” on Saturday night in Abu Dhabi.

Ariel Helwani of MMAFighting spoke to White after the UFC 112 post-fight press conference and as always, White pulled no punches.

When asked if he felt that UFC 112 was his lowest moment since becoming the UFC president, White quickly responded by saying, “No doubt about it, absolutely, 100 percent.”

White left his seat during the fourth round of the main event and handed the belt to Silva’s manager, Ed Soares, so that he could wrap it around Silva’s waist, since White had no desire to do so after what he’d been watching.

Tonight’s performance reminded a lot of people about what took place at UFC 97 , when Silva had an unimpressive title defense against Thales Leites.

Silva’s performance was not the type of first impression that White wanted to leave with his guests in the Middle East. White said that he would have a “private conversation” with his middleweight champ about tonight’s main event.

White also went on to say that Silva “performed like a jackass for five rounds,” and was upset that he had to apologize to the fans since Silva was unwilling to .

There’s a saying that a wise man named Vince McMahon once used: "Don’t cross the boss."
