Can Arsenal Take Control of Their Destiny?
The weekend is almost upon us, and with it comes a trip to Hull on Saturday evening for Arsenal. It's another must-win game, in my opinion, but then again, at this stage of the season, they are all must-win games if we're going to win the league.
Before the season started, I genuinely thought that Arsenal could finish second in the league as I thought both Liverpool and "Manure were weaker than last season but that Chelsea looked unstoppable.
It would seem that I underestimated Arsenal and more importantly over estimated Chelsea in my predictions. As for "Manure," I thought they were a one-man team when "the diver" was with them but it would seem that "Shrek" has stepped up and they are even more of a one man team now.

If he were to get injured in the run in, I'm sure their title challenge would fall apart and the majority of their fans that I know agree completely that this is the worst "Manure" team they have seen in a long time, but he is carrying them single-handedly.
Can the same be said of Arsenal and our reliance on Cesc, is the question to be asked and with the recent performances of Nasri I think that maybe the answer is no. Don't forget that our first choice striker has been injured for four months now and the replacements haven't exactly set the world alight before last Wednesday night.
Ask yourself where Chelsea and "Manure" would be now if Drogba and "Shrek" were out for the last four months, and I'm sure you know that they wouldn't be in the positions that they are in.
I had thought that Ramsey was the natural successor for Cesc but since Shawcross broke his leg Nasri has got a chance in that role and he has excelled. As I said earlier this week, he was seen as the new Zidane a few years ago and the reason why is becoming evident now.
If he continues his present form, I fully expect him to push his way into France's starting team for this summer's World Cup.
As for tomorrow's game, it would seem that with Gallas, Cesc, and Song all definitely out and Sagna and Campbell doubtful the team will be stripped to the bare bones again but we will still have enough class to get the required result. A win tomorrow leaves us almost in complete control of our own destiny, and with "Manure" playing at home to Chelsea in three weeks time, we know that one or both of them will certainly drop points that day.
I'm certain that they will both drop points elsewhere as Chelsea's poor away form is really hampering them and the likes of Liverpool will be really up for their games against "Manure."
I'll give my usual rundown of my thoughts on the probable team and outcome of our trip to Hull in tomorrow's effort. I'll try to have it ready nice and early although I'll probably be knackered after a hard weeks work and football tonight. That's it for today.
Here's a good goal from Bendtner.
See You Tomorrow.
