If Lukasz Fabianski Performs Against Porto, Should He Be Arsenal's New Keeper?
Arsenal kick off their round of 16 Champions League first-leg clash against Portuguese giants Porto tomorrow.
Arsenal potentially have the Champions League as their last remaining competition for silverware. With both sides carrying injuries, it is sure to be an exciting, attacking encounter.
Arsenal, as usual, have a long list of injuries. The most recent addition to the treatment table is first choice goalkeeper and current vice captain Manuel Almunia.

The Spainard suffered a finger injury and with Arsene Wenger not wanting to risk the former Celtico Vigo shot stopper, Almunia has been forced to watch from the sidelines.
The injury means a glorious opportunity for second-string keeper Lukasz Fabianski. The Polish keeper has found games hard to come by this season despite lack of form from Almunia.
Almunia has seen many Arsenal fans turn against him, thanks to a string of poor performances. The 31-year-old does tend to be mistake prone and nervy at times, and Almunia has failed to turn up at big games.
Fabianski, however, is a capable keeper who does lack good decision making and height but is very agile and quick. Fabianski spent the early half of the season battling injury, but now the Polish international is fully fit and ready to fire.
But can Fabianski do a good job? Wenger has full faith in the former Legia Warsaw player, insisting the 24-year-old has the ability to become a first class keeper; all he needs is experience.
Well, a chance has arisen for Lukasz Fabianski. If he can perform strongly for the Gunners against Porto, there is a strong chance that by the end of the season, Lukasz Fabianski could have Arsenal's first-choice keeper role nailed down.
