Can Boston College Earn Wins On The Tail End of a Disappointing Season?
After a bid in the NCAA Tournament last season, Boston College returned all but one player on their roster.
That one player, Tyrese Rice, has been the biggest missing piece for an Eagles team that has boggled with inconsistency all season long.
At 12-13 overall and 3-8 in the ACC, Boston College has been up and down, winning games that could have bolstered their resume, but it has been bad losses that have dominated their 2009-2010 season.

UConn's STACKED Schedule ☠️

Report: Biggest Spenders in Men's CBB 🤑
With five games remaining during the regular season, the Eagles look to finish strong with their only chance of postseason play being an NIT berth or an automatic bid through the ACC tournament.
Thinking rationally, the Eagles will most likely finish amongst the bottom teams in the conference and their slim chance in the ACC Tournament is that in its own—a slim chance.
Here are the remaining regular season games for Boston College:
Saturday, Feb. 20: North Carolina
The Tar Heels have been one of the more disappointing teams in the nation this season, and for Boston College, an opportunity for a win may present itself at home on Saturday.
With the injuries down-low for UNC, Boston College should focus on winning the match-ups with the guards. If they can do so, the Eagles may be able to get back to .500 overall.
Wednesday, Feb. 24: Virginia Tech
The Hokies have been on a roll and have probably played themselves into the NCAA Tournament, at least as of right now.
The Eagles turned the ball over late and lost in Blacksburg earlier in the season and preventing that should be the main focus for BC at home next week when Virginia Tech comes to town.
Saturday, Feb. 27: at Georgia Tech
Georgia Tech might need wins to get themselves back into the NCAA Tournament mix. Don’t expect the Yellow Jackets to sleep on this home game against the visiting Eagles.
Wednesday, March 3: Virginia
The NCAA Tournament hopes for Virginia are ending fast unless they turn things around right away.
Boston College can pick up a win in their last home game of the season if they execute against a fading Virginia squad.
Saturday, March 7: at North Carolina State
This might be a game that concerns the last two teams in the ACC standings. The Wolfpack have the home court advantage, but it might come down to whoever wants to remain out of the cellar.
It will be a tough road match-up for Boston College at Georgia Tech in their final game in February. However, the other four of their five remaining games, present legitimate shots at winning.
With only one senior on this years’ roster, the Eagles can work to prepare for next season. Ending a dismal 2009-2010 season on a positive note can give Boston College some momentum heading into the off-season.
