Anquan Boldin: Miami Dolphins Brass Reportedly Talking Trade with Cardinals
Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Anquan Boldin has wanted out of Arizona for several years now because he believes he deserves a raise ever since fellow receiver and teammate Larry Fitzgerald got one following the 2007 regular season.
According to Miami Herald reporter Barry Jackson, two front office Dolphins personnel have contacted the Cardinals about a possible trade for the receiver once March 5 rolls around.
Boldin, who has been very public in his desires to get traded in the past, has now told the media that he won't request a trade.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Since he is in the last year of his contract, the Cardinals are most likely going to trade him anyway in order to get something for him, instead of letting him walk into free agency and get nothing in return for a three-time Pro Bowler.
At this point for the Cardinals, they can afford to move Boldin since their younger receivers—Steve Breaston and Early Doucet—have stepped up their game in the absence of Boldin due to injuries.
Jackson also reported that the Dolphins have already offered a third-round pick for Boldin, but the Cardinals may want more since they were previously asking for a tender of two first-round picks for Boldin.
Obviously, the price will come down, but as low as a third-rounder?
That remains to be seen.
The Dolphins have a need for a true No. 1 receiver since the development of Ted Ginn Jr. has been extremely slow, and Boldin has shown in the past that he can be a No. 1 back in the days before the arrival of Fitzgerald.
Boldin will turn 30 during the 2010 regular season and he has a history of injury issues, which may drive down the asking price for him.
Being a former second-round pick, it makes more sense that the Cardinals would ask a second-round pick in return for Boldin from the Dolphins.
Boldin would bring a new dynamic to the Dolphins' offense and he would be a welcome addition and weapon for up-and-coming quarterback Chad Henne.
Boldin had 84 receptions for 1,024 yards and four touchdowns in 15 games in 2009.
