Rafael Benitez Should Bid Farewell To Liverpool
A couple of months ago, the percentage of Liverpool fans who wanted Rafa to remain at the club was around 95% while those who had no confidence in him was only a mere 5%. That was the time when Liverpool's challenge for the Premiership title was effectively over.
Two months on, those figures would surely be different after the Reds were humiliated and knocked out of the Champions League group stages and lost back to back matches at home to Fiorentina and Arsenal.
The first half of the season is almost over and they have lost 10 out of their 24 matches played so far. They won the same number of matches they lost and drew 4 matches in all competitions. So, their record is 10-4-10. And it is still only the first half of the season.

Is that good for a club that won 18 championships and 5 European Cups? -Surely not. If other clubs had the same record as Liverpool's, they would be demanding for the manager to be given the axe by now.
How long can the fans take this? The team is not performing well and the results recently prove just that.
I was looking through the results of Liverpool's games this season and found an interesting stat that Reds fans would not be delighted about. Liverpool have not managed to score more than two goals after their 6-1 thrashing of Hull City three months ago.
Without doubt, this is down to the mentality of the squad that scoring two goals in a game would be enough. And why didn't Rafa address this issue to the team?
Liverpool have not been the same team after winning the 2006 FA Cup albeit reaching the Champions League final the following year and finished second in the league last season but things did not go smoothly after Rafa applied the infamous 'rotation system' which resulted in quality players like Crouch, Bellamy and Riise leaving the club for a new chapter in their respective careers.
Liverpool are finding it hard to score goals and they desperately need a couple of strikers who would support Torres when he is injured or rested. Ngog, Kuyt, Eccleston, Babel and Voronin are just not capable of filling in Torres's boots when he does not play. If they do not make a move for anyone in the January transfer window, I would be really dissapointed.
Liverpool are really in need for a change of manager now. If Liverpool are to win the league, then they really need a manager who is serious about it.
